Really liking the somewhat slow progression of the game.

A level takes a long time to gain.. and I am liking that immensely. It makes a new level actually a nice experience. Not something that happens every half hour.

I too like the slowness. My highest level is only 19. Of course Im running all three sides right now fairly evenly.

Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

I love the progression of the game also,  slow is the way to go.   I burned through FFXIV and Raided like a banshee, cleared all content in under 2 months and I must say, It feels like I already finished that game.    Now I got a game I can really sink some time into and enjoy instead of racing to the top finishing everything overnight.

You'll love Veteran Ranks then... each one is about the same as ten normal levels. For me, who does all the quests and points of interest, that's about 24 hours played time per Veteran Rank.

Sounds great to me, the quicker you level the quicker you are gone for many players, top level is End Game for them. For me there is much more to a MMO than that, so I am just poodling along.

I think some players consternation comes from the fact they cannot get to top level and achieve top veteran rank within a month. They had no intention of resubbing, its a solo game for them and they are annoyed they won't be able to "finish it" after paying the box fee.
