Umm, lol someone has to say it...
The bugs left with all the players.
Lolipops !
The bugs were mostly caused by too many people in an area... most have either leveled or quit either way its improved now.
The problem of the day is caused by the bots who farm every solo dungeon and most outdoor areas constantly... ruining the experience for players.
maybe you should play a game before making such statements. there are way more than enough players.
if you left, fine. no one cares.
uh yea right.... "lol, someone had to say it". seems legit eh?
"believe me, mike.. i calculated the odds of this working against the odds that i was doing something incredibly stupid and i did it anyway!"
Haven't seen any bots this weekend either. The dungeons have been clear as far as I can tell. There was a few people camping the boss in a couple of them but they all talked and were surprised that the bots were gone also.
Still had a few bugs with a couple quests but nothing big, the overreaction crowd has been silenced a bit. ZOS seems to be on top of shit and thats a good thing.
Frankly, most of the people I know have already quit and aren't around to report bugs anymore. I'm only still playing for my free month but even Cyrodil is on its last legs as its devolved into meaningless keep training and trading, and any semblance of prestige for the Emperor is gone as 70% of them exploited Vamp skills to farm the AP.
Haven't touched the PvE in ages now but the load screen issue is still there, the stuck/bad combat is still there.
Most of the bugs are gone, true.
But there are still a few there. Anyhow, I think they did well over the last few weeks. Played Shadowfen and Eastmarch in the last 2 weeks. I had one phasing bug with a group, nothing else. Fine.
Hodor!
Sorry about your panties.... but i was in earnest joking, and i spent my 30 days +5 early access trying to give the game a fair shake.
Let me know when you can quest together with a friend....

ive been playing in reapers march all day, and encountered zero bugged quests..
what is funny is there was one quest, and people couldnt figure out the riddle, and they're all saying in chat that it is bugged...but i went on to find out that they just didn't know how to solve the riddle...it was actually funny
i can understand that there's definitely been bugged quests when i first started, but lately, over the past week or so, ive encountered no bugged quests and no crashes of any kind. it's been a great experience.
game is fun, atmosphere is really cool, especially when turning off the ui and just hanging out.
ive been questing with a pal from level 1 to 42 so far, only a few times we had to join each others instances (travel to player) when first joining up...
never encountered any issue really, what's going on with grouping? some issue some people are having?
What I did notice is that freezes are gone aswell, this was really annoying. Seems like they did fix it with the last patche(s).

On topic,
I havent seen a single bot this weekend so far. Leveling 4 characters slowly all with different crafting jobs takes a bit of time. I still have 2 characters in Auridon and they have really fixed most of the issues since launch. Had one bug where I needed to log out and back in to get the fire wand working on the quest in the spirit graveyard area but other than that it is really smooth. The population is still pretty high there, I can get a group for BC in a minute or two and the major cities are still packed with people.
Our group had a buggy dungeon quest last night...eventually it worked. I do think the population has thinned out quite a bit. I'm not sure if it's just thinning out from people leveling or people quitting altogether...it might also just be people not logging in nearly as much, but not quitting altogether.
I just don't see much to keep entertainment going for any length of time...the PvP is just horrible since it's all zergs...plus the land is way too vast to facilitate much combat. Not having a good ranged ae method to counter zergs makes zergs the most efficient means of combat.
Despite of what people tell you about leveling speed...a lot of players have already hit 50. So yes population has been thinned out a lot.
I hit 50 last night and let me tell you that there is no shortage of people in that area. You wont find that many players now in low level and mid zones.
I will be starting with veteran ranks now and check out whats the big deal about because so far not one person in my 5 guilds have said that they are enjoying the veteran ranks. Gonna test it for myself.
Yes that's another on that makes me laugh, "PvE levelling is too slow", "Veteran levelling is too slow". Who are all these guys who are already Veteran rank then?
My favourite was the guy who wrote the review about how slow it was last week, about 20 days into the game and he was Veteran rank eight!
I just dinged veteran rank 3 and I've been level 50 for more than a week now. I'm aiming for VR 10 to be able to see Craglorn, but it's going to be a long grindy ride. It sucks because I want to try out other classes aswell, but since you're already doing all quest on 1 character I don't bother leveling an alt, it's just too boring.
I think putting veteran ranks in the game was a mistake from ZOS, people were VR10 in a few days anyway, despite the content being 3 times longer than intended... That's the only reason I can see ZOS implemented the grind to go to all the other zones after you're max level, just because they want to make the content longer for 1 character so you're not high level soon. You don't need players who burn through your content like that and start whining, if the new content patch comes out they blast through that in a week and start crying for more again. It's a neverending story.
Now for the players who do like to chill out and maybe level an alt if they want to, they're kinda screwed right now. Because ye sure you can level an alt if you want. But the content takes that long that you're really not in for another long grind. It's not even shortened out if you have a max level character... It's the same 100000 quest you need to do again -.-
Man I'm happy when I'm VR10 and that shouldn't be a good thing.
The only major bug I can speak of that is really something that needs to be fixed is ability lockup during fights, whereas I am unable to attack or use any hotbar abilities and will remain this way until either I or the mob is dead. I would have thought this might of been fixed by now seeing as it has been this way since early access (didn't play enough in beta to test it). So far it only seems to be dual wielding with my dragonknight, whether it also happens with other classes I am unsure.
Moral of the story, sh*ts annoying yo.
Zenimax is indeed doing a good job in improving the overall gaming experience.
About bugs:
I always wonder about players complaining about the game being full of bugs. This weekend I reached a playtime of 120 hours (VR1) and I have found only 3 bugged quests so far. All could be solved by the player by following certain actions or restarting the quest.
One thing I found out while questing through the zones of Ebonheart Pact: Even though a quest works perfectly fine, players sometimes complain in region chat about that particular quest being bugged. Usually these players have not READ the quest dialogue or did not check the hints / objectives in their quest journal.
