This game is just like every other stupid MMO out there right now. What can you do in AA that you can't do in any other current MMO?   I mean yeah, you can plant your own garden, make your own farm, raise your own livestock, build houses, build castles, siege castles, build a town, row a boat, build a ship, have ship battles, have open-world pvp that doesn't suck, make and trade goods, go on trade runs, craft a million things, sell a million things, commit crimes, go on trial, be part of a trial, be the judge of a trial, raise pets, raise mounts...AND ALL THAT; but I mean come on...it's just like ESO.

 

Seriously though, this is my first Sandbox; and after the starting zone, I felt like this couple.

So much fun

    Yes, this is a great game, just have no interest in the Trion version.

    Lets not forget the open skill system, use any weapon and armour with 120 class combination.

    there are just a few disconcerning things that have me not buy into the hype

    - looks and feel is a bit outdated (can live with that and things like ui can be altered i hear)

    - combat - while having a good skill system - is for me incredibly boring - i cant play another tab target game, i just cant...why do you even put collision in a tab target game anyway?

    - bots - russian players tell me that the russian servers are riddled with bots and hacks that basically ruin any ecconomy - and bots seem especially bad in a purely player driven economy

    - there is (was) a very dedicated player base in germany for the game that played on the korean and ru servers (one guy has a 200+ hours lp on youtube). They basically said that the patch 1.0 ruins any kind of sand box features and turns the game into ptw in its worst form - they confronted the developper and they obviously said that they didnt see it that way and wanted to continue on this path...

    ...that lets me to believe that the game is a sinking ship without a future...i hope i am wrong - but i predict all the streamers that are loving the game right now will have moved on before it even releases...hopefully im wrong, they change the dev path and i might even try it some day.

    A bit concerned about the thirty levels of quest grinding that seem to precede the game proper.
