oh crap, are they already starting exp chains in FFXI?
They're craptaculer guilds or whatever built solely for boosting your chars in levels. There's very minimal exploring/roleplaying and you are really cheating yourself by not getting the most "fun" out of your game....unless your fun is based only on attaining levels- bah!

No Desp, your thinking of something COMPLETELY different.
Exp chains in FFO are when you kill another tough or higher con monster within a short period of time. Its like 90 seconds or something. So killing 5 easy cons in 90 seconds just gets you normal exp, but killing 2 tough cons in 90 seconds will grant you a boost on the second and any others if you kill them within 90 seconds of each other.
Kill one tough for 50 exp (numbers are just examples), kill the second tough in under the chain time for 60 exp (10 bonus), kill another tough within chain time of the second one 65 exp (15 bonus). etc. This works for a while till you either run out of mana/health or things to kill.
The 90 seconds part is probably wrong just my guess from when we have gotten them.
