Why did they stop at $150 for packages.

I was thinking they should have had a few more options for players that want a bit more to start off with.

 

Perhaps

$200 Sailer Pack includes 1 row boat and 1 sailboat on top of the 150 plan

$250 Hell on Wheels pack includes a roadster and mini-sub on top of the 150 plan

$300 Master and commander includes 1 fully outfitted Galleon and a Mansion on top of 150 plan

$500 Master and commander Hell on Wheels + two large storage chests and 1 year subscription on top of the 150 plan

 

Other games have done this.....example Avatar Shroud of Virtue

    $150 is already a lot for a game, let alone $500. Have you got nothing better to spend your money on?

    This isn't a crowd funded game though.  Everyone knows this game is coming out whether they pay or not.  It's probably the business model they feel will give them the most money and recurring subs.

    Why not just buy everything and not play the game at all ?How about not earning or discovering anything just buy everything and never have to play the game.

    EVERYTHING in games should be earned through gaming means and not with the wallet.It segregates the community  and just further proof that sub fees should be the normal because it treats everyone the same.This preferential treatment for handing over more money is the exact reason i will  not support these games,even if i like the game..

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    So youre currently not playing any other MMOs right now then? because every game out there the two that offer a sub model and the dozens of other free to play hybrids all sell more stuff more more than the base cost of the game. Only exception might be EvE.
