$450 founders ?

So to all of you who claimed that i was stupid, crazy, inconsiderate... whatever, for buying the $150.00 founders pack for Archeage. 

You can now go and complain in the Transformers Universe forums now... please....http://massively.joystiq.com/2014/04/30/transformers-universe-founders-program-includes-450-bundle/

So umm i might be a bit crazy for the Archeage founders.... but that included alot of stuff i would have paid for at a later time. but i will never spend $450 on 1 game in a single year, that is crazy no matter what.

    Don't know what's sadder the fact that the company is asking $450 for founder status or that some people are actually going to pay it...

    If ArcheAge would of been P2P as it was planned to be 5 years ago, you would of had everything in game. But now since the game is F2P with a cash shop, the 150$ founder pack will be good for 2-3 months, depending on how you progress, you'll feel the urge and the need to buy off the cash shop, and that 150$ founder pack has now become a 250$ after 3-4 months of game play, 900$ after a year and so on.   That's why I am always against pre orders collector editions and such, it's a mind trap waiting to explode.  P2P is the most legit model for a full game experience, well maybe for the exception of TESO, but that's another story for another thread. :)

    Umm well thanks for telling me how i play MMO's and how i will spend my money.... Would it not make more sense that since along with my founders pack i get a sizable amount of Cash Shop credit, that i will probably not feel the urge to spend more money ?  

    I would have to tell you that, YES that was my intention all along, and i get patron status for 3 months.

    I do feel bad that you could not purchase a founders pack and enjoy the game like me right now. When it releases you can join in and i will give you a nice tour of my Galleon ;)
