Spellcrafting... Requires mellee alternative

If they add an oldfashioned ES spellcrafting system, the mellee stuff requires something alike...

 

i was thinking several fighting school styles....( as opposite to the old schools of magic ). 

And a mellee combat trainer as opposed to the spellcrafter....

one accessible when max level at the mages guild, the other on when max level at the fighters guild

 

not someting you choose between, but something you make your choices in...

    I figured they'd do conjured weapons at some point....but that's not really an alternative.  The melee skill line for the mage in Rift does something similar.

    I'd even forego spellcrafting if they'd just include a few more root classes or tree/ability/spell options...especially since the class skills are only part of the gameplay. It sags my nadgers to see hundreds of near identical dragon knights yanking mobs with their chain thingy and the same dragon spine animation coming out of their backs whilst sorcerers run around with the same pet and three very lack lustre trees of highly dull spells.

      Perhaps "spells" includes melee abilities or at least stamina based abilities?  Too many possibilities, not enough details yet.
