If its anything like WoW....Im ok with it. If its anything like Guild Wars....Im ok with it....If its anything like FFXI I will burn the game in a trash can and pee on it.
I would classify it as slightly more advanced than WoW (to use your desired example) simply because you have the abiliy to engage in a little "futures investment" involving the universial monetary unit and your race-unique monetary unit.

That sounds interesting. Hows the crafting system?

The only known data about crafting that I am aware of is that all items lvl 30+ will be crafted/found on monsters... that you need minerals from the mines.. and that you will need some monster dropped items in order to craft. At this moment crafters can only make basic items and CANNT craft any intense or magic items, This is possibly going to be addressed in the final giga update(Though the crafting of intense/magic items will be limited to pure crafting classes only).
Thats the information that I have read up and found. Though it could also change as Codemasters has the right to edit the content as they see fit to match the western style of gameplay.
Maybe it is a stupid question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway . Every race has a class crafters (or something like that)Doe that mean the items that will be availeble in the game are all made by other players that are crafters? And if that is the case; won't those players become incredibly wealthy?
well i had better learn from some of tricks of the futures market. but couldnt that also cause people with massive amounts of money in an enemy form to care alittle less as far as who wins the mine war's? Well an under populated race could easly make a ton of cash by watching the other 2 races fight it out while they watch. i'm not an economist so am i right? would it be possable for a large guild/large money holders to seriously muck up the market system?
Each race has its own economy, and trade between the races is not allowed. You cant even talk to the other races to find out what they have for sale/trade little own give it to them. Each race will be soley dependant on themselves in the long run, though you are able to coop with another race to kill monsters/players (for example... a Cora and an Accretian are allowed to both attack the same Bellato MAU unit, though they cannot join the same party or talk to each other to coordinate the attack). So the long and short of this is basicly... if a race opts to not participate in the mines wars they are only hurting themselves.
As far as crafters becoming ungodly rich like eveyone seems to be worried about in this thread... Crafters will be dependant on ore from mining and certian items from monsters to create items. So the crafters have to spend time to mine.. kill monsters.. and then spend money to refine the ore so that they can use it. This means that crafting will also be spendy for the crafters and not a cash cow like you are a thinking. The people that will become cash cows are the ones that mine the most (mining can earn you 300-450k per an hour of mining, and thats just selling the ores to vendors) so whomever mines the most and is able to sell to players for a bit more than vendor buys for will be the rich people on the server. Crafters items wont really play a role untill level 30+, and at this time they are only able to craft basic items (non-intense, non-magic) anyhow, so if you want the best equip (intense, magic) you have to find it off monsters and what not. At least thats my view.
Sorry for the long post, just thought I would share my view.

Wow, I seriously am getting this urge to play the game more and more. I mean this is the first time I have heard that a game has such an economy based system like that. It is so equally spread out and stuff, and no class will be rich just because they have special skills such as crafting. I think people might actually like this game after playing a bit, I might hopefully.
I was wondering does anyone know what the currancy in Rising Force Online is called??? Like do they have a special name for it or soemthing? Thankyou for answering.
Each race has its own currency bais to their economy. The value of this currency will be directly related to which race controls the mines. At any time you are allowed to turn in your race currency for gold which is the central currency that each races value is bais off of, so you can attempt to play the market and trade for gold when low and trade back in for racial currency when high. Your races currency is also useless for the other races so no need to try give any to them.

I was wondering the same thing. I think the higher end stuff will be made by crafters, but I have yet to find much information on the subject.

They have tax rates and stuff... I guess its gonna be player driven
cool, i dont like non player driven... but if its like ffXI i may get depressed (to depressed to burn the game and pee on it).

Interesting... but where does the taxes go and who gets them?
Stupid, but what is WOW crap?
