I bought the game on the day of release. I played for 3 days.
I didn't get to pvp level, is it worth it to pvp? Is the pvp fun? How does it work?
What is amazingly fun that's ahead of me in the game please inspire me to come back and play it again. I just wasn't seeing any light at the end of the tunnel while playing is there something awesome ahead?
Talk about it please.
Don't derail this topic with random bitching about everything you didn't like about the game.

Lol, yea OP this game isn't for you obviously. Go back to your league of casuals. If you need someone to convince you to play one of the best MMOs in a decade then this game is obviously not for you.
Holy crap, I made this post with the intent of taking the focus off the negativity everyone throws at the game. I was trying to get people to post some of the positive enjoyable things about the game and a legitimate opportunity to be a fan-boy and potentially attract additional players.
Instead you guys are just laying into me with insults, really nullifies the entire point of the post?
I see that if it is possible to be a jerk on the internet, the opportunity will be seized upon.
And even so, at this point, nobody has said anything good about the game, just telling me not to play.
Ok, never mind, this topic was a waste of time.
1 of 2 things is the case here.
1) The game is full of people of which you are a representation of, whom people do not enjoy gaming with because they are bitter and always searching for an opportunity to insult or belittle others.
2) The game has nothing to offer and the thought of having to name what the game has to offer is met with explosive anger and vitriol.
I tend to think that once again as usual, MMORPG.com is the gutter of the mmo internet with people surfing for the opportunity to avenge their school bullying on anyone who would take the mis-step of making a positive post.
And for the record, league is a lot of fun.
Honestly, a lot of what you said *is* the selling point of this game for me. It is the first MMORPG in ten years where the pvp actually feels challenging to me on occasion, when I get my ass kicked.
I am sooooo bored with the same old tab, button mash. There is still some button mashing involved, but it is a hell of a lot more involved for me than most previous MMORPGs.
If you want to give this game a shot, find a guild, group, hunt together and make it a social experience. It was not a game meant to be played alone. Hit a rough spot, get someone else in the same boat. I am sure you were not the only one getting pounded on by that mob.
Other than, not sure what to tell ya.

3. we're not PR or marketing for ZOS, we dont get paid to advertise or sell the game to you. Also you have the game, you can login and play it right now if you choose too rather then come and make a thread asking if you should, what would be the legitimate point of anyone here to give you all the positives and fun they'e having in the game for you to then turn around and say "nah, i still dont think it's my cup of tea" wasting their time just to have you throw it back in their face, which by your posts and subsequent follow up posts seems exactly what you're trying todo, get a rise out of some "fanbois" just to throw it back in their face and tell them the game is terrible.
ALSO while we're on it, it was a pretty simple statement, you said you had trouble and were dying alot etc... and you stopped playing after 3 days and went back to league... it doesnt get any easier as you get higher.. it gets harder so if you're frustrated and angry at the game at which i'm going to assume you were around level 25ish, you're not going to like it more later on it gets harder and requires more patients and such.
NOT TO MENTION the things i like about the game might not be appealing to you at all, so you're a grown man, you can figure out if you want to play a game or not... you dont need others to justify or validate your opinions or choices on the subject, play it or dont, we're not your parents we're not here to baby you into making a decision.
AS A FINAL POINT the ESO community is quite pleasant actually and you're 1 and 2 points are a kneejerk reaction to not being able to bait people like you initially wanted too.. leave you're negative and unnecessary commments somewhere else as you are actually a prime example of the gutter trash of mmorpg.com
Here's my impression so far , of what you are talking about, first off, I've been playing since early release and haven't got far into the game (I've been rerolling over and over to find the class build that really clicks with me) I've done builds that I've died a lot on and others that I can hardly die on. I think the trick is to find a build that you enjoy playing and experiment until you find one that had the survivability your looking for. I'm really enjoying the game and am mainly looking forward to trying out the PvP. I know this isn't super helpful but I wanted to at least get something on this thread besides people flaming you personally and offering nothing.
That being said, take it slow and try to find a build that you enjoy. If the game still doesn't click with you after a while then the game may not be for you at least you would make that decision yourself instead of a bunch of trolls telling you to quit just because you died a few times
So, when you say that you didn't get to "pvp level," do you mean that you haven't hit level 10 yet? I'd say at least play until level 15. For me that was when the game really opened up. Being able to equip 2 different weapons and having 2 hotbars to work with opened up a ton of new possibilities. For me, the game is actually getting better the further my character advances.
Which faction are you in? It's been interesting to hear how peoples' experiences have been different in the different factions. If you don't like the quests etc. and you're still below lvl 10 you might try re-rolling in a different faction. I know a few people who have done this and they said that it really made a difference in the atmosphere of the game.
If you bought the game you might as well give it a shot. Who knows, you might actually start to enjoy it.
Dude. Just quit and don't ever come back.
If you think after 3 days this game is hard, wait till you get to VR1.
Just don't come back because it's too hard for you and it will be even harder at VR1
Are you on the same website as the rest of us? When does any of that actually go well for a game. Majority of people would rather dwell on all the negatives a game has to offer. A typical this game is great thread will have a page or three. A thread about how this game caused someone to lose faith in jesus will get an easy nineteen pages within a day.
What? You want us to lie to you? If you can't hack it after 3 days, it's only going to get worse.
Look at all the posts from people complaining about how hard it is after VR1 and the long quest grind.
Don't come back and stick with League of Casual.
People get jaded.
Your thread comes off a little trollish. Can't exactly blame them. "Bought the game, never really gave it a chance, been playing another since... should I come back to this game I have no real idea about and couldn't even appreciate what people told me if I tried?"
He's obviously trolling. Why would he give up after 3 days and then come back when your 30 days is up? He's coming to come back right near when the $15 a month charge hits? And he said he quit to play a Free Casual game like League of Legend. How big of a troll is that? He should have made it obvious by saying Hello Kitty Online because that's what LOL is
woah bro.. you dont own shares in ZOS... relax a little man, it's not a personal attack on you.
He might have skipped one of the early zones you have to go by ship to get to, and went for the mainlaind quests. Those are a few lvls above, and so its normal in that sense.
Assuming its that.
The game is about figuring out on how to balance abilities, and not just blocks and power ups, to get the most hp/dmg in a fight. Its not designed so a pure dmg class wearing medium armor can take out a regular group. However, for some reason aoe dmg is just as high as regular dmg, and so it makes more sense to with aoe spec, and then some dmg mitigation, potions, provisions, debuff'/buff etc
Write bad things that are done to you in sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble
That's right Skippy. You act like you own ZOS so cool it little man. Right on man
Ryoshi1 as Rikimaru
Wow I cant believe the first page of this thread and the response you got, I think they are soley a reflection of the community of mmorpg.com and definately not a representation of the community in the game. I have over 1800 people in all my guilds put together and never seen anyone treat people the way they have treated the OP on the front page of this thread, its sad really.
That said, I just wanted to let you know, they got everything fixed pretty much and the economy in my five guilds is actually better now that they took care of the duping problem. Imperial Motifs actaully sell for 15k now, which is great because the duping was keeping prices too low to make good gold. Other then that, its the same game but no bugs at the moment. PVP is at 10 and it looks a bit lobsided at the moment, but they have a patch that will balance things a lot more.
Dont mind the hateful comments from some of these people, I noticed some are just really mad at life for being burnt so many times by it.
A-fucking-men brother.
couple of things
1 - there is still plenty of bugs, the trick is dont let it take anything away from the game.. it's still a fun game, challenging etc..
2 - it was a troll thread i'm sorry you didnt see it.
