Playing the game for only 3 days and not even reaching PVP levels means that you missed the best content of the game. Especially the early levels when you experience the starter islands are known to feel be a bit dull and generic. After finishing the starter island the game world opens and you are presented with many exciting stories.

The question remaining is, if TESO is for you. You mentioned that you were driven away, because you did not manage to beat a certain opponent due to not knowing your character (heal spells).

TESO gives you many choices such as the freedom to develop your character in the way you want. This also means that you should be interested to dive into character development. Open the skills list and just having a look for possible skills to chose eases up things. I recommend you to visit the Tamriel Foundry forums for possible specializations. There are dozens of suggestions for character development and most of them are well explained. This should help a lot.

About PvP: Some of the current bugs aside, PvP is a lot of fun. Again, TESO offers a lot of freedom by design. You have got a huge zone (needs 30-45minutes to travel from one end to the other). You can fast travel between keeps, if the teleport line is held and active.

The size of the map means that keep sieges are very dynamic. Defenders actually may defend their keep, because the number of opponents will decrease the longer you successfully defend. Also, by the size you may roam solo or in small groups and look for ganks. There are no real rewards for participating in PvP. Of course you get points that you can spend on siege weapons or equipment, but there is no special PvP gear. If you are good, you may become emperor which literally makes you raid boss.

The game is definitely worth a second check. If you like it or not is up to you.

Is today "pick a random person to hate" day? Geez.

The game doesn't really change after level 15, the story just gets "more interesting" depending on who you ask, if you don't like to level up via questing or you don't like the PvP (which is awesome) then theres no light on the end of the tunnel. Even Craglorn is too far ahead for being the sole reason to play this game.
