But the dungeon dynamic is awful in this game, just like it's awful in WoW and every other game where it's all about the trinity and the main tactic revolves around where to stand. The pinnacle of absurdity was in Arx Corinium (so far), where it was more important to stare at your feet than spec your character effectively.
I wish I had more to say, but that's all there is to it.
Oh, well there is the part about knowing any better (you can skip this if you don't give a crap). There ARE other mmos that have done it without the trinity. I can't cite GW2 because I hated the game and the only dungeons I tried were just an unorganized mess, but City of Heroes missions were incredible, and the dynamic of survival got even better when villains were introduced, because they even further restricted the ability to have specialized trinity roles of tank and healer. Often Corruptors were healers by standing in the right place (without color coding on the ground) and using aoe heals, the best of which had a chance to fail depending on how you slotted it. Masterminds, oddly enough became sort of like tanks, absorbing alpha strikes and using their pets to keep many enemies occupied.
I am honestly surprised that such important mmo projects like this use rehashed BS that if nothing else is stale.
BTW, I'm enjoying the game in general, so gtfo with any sort of troll comments.

So you're just looking for people to agree with you, otherwise they just don't know any better ?
Why bother posting at all then?
It just works. Defensive players attracting attention, healers keeping up everyones HP and everyone else dealing damage or ranged. Common sense tactics even if fantasy worlds were real. Your example game sounds exactly the same btw.
Its like saying strategy type games like Total War shouldnt have formations or bonuses vs diff unit types
