Just got dumped.

I dated a girl back in high school for over four years. The relationship ended 12 years ago. She dumped me. I was devastated. It took forever for me to move on.
5 years ago she got back in touch with me. She wanted to hang out etc. and I did so reluctantly for a few years here and there when she was in town. This summer she told me I was her soul mate and that she loved me and would do anything in the world if I would just forgive her....
Strong words.... I fell back in love with her HARD.
Four months later she screwed some other dude a few times behind my back and just dumped me....
DID NOT see that coming...

harsh dude but everything like this makes you stronger in the future. Plus girls hear stories like this, as long as you don't whine to them ad nauseum, and eat it up as you are the victim and the sensitive one who got hurt.. It'll most likely help you in the future

Follow her next time she is on a date with another guy and damage the crap out of her car in the parking lot. From what I understand, this is not considered to be a crime but rather a socially acceptable way to get justice.

A good rule of thumb... Never and I repeat NEVER get back with someone who either cheated on you or just flatly dumped you as they will undoubtedly do it again as soon as it's convenient for them. Just FYI.

We all learn from our past and will eventually get over it. I am sure by now you will be more matured in terms of relationship and trust. You were kind hearted to give her another chance but she blew it up once again which is her biggest mistake and in future she will definitely regret what she has done to you. I always believe in karma. What comes around, goes around.

I tend to like judge each situation on it's own merit. While cheating isn't good. I've seen (people I know, not all cases one very specific though) push their wife into someone elses arms. I don't know, the whole praising about how she's your wife and you love her so much you won't ever be with anyone else. Then turn around and call her a whore among friends and family to her face and they all snicker away. She had not done anything even remotely close to deserving it. After a year or two of this.. Surprise she finally sleeps with another person. Not right but it is what it is.
Having kids in any unstable relationship makes both parties pieces of crap.

I agree, karma is always there smiting all the people who do bad things to others. Don't you worry dude, maybe there is just a good reason why this thing happens to you. There might be someone else who will come in your life which is better than the girl who dumped you.
