Has anyone played Ferentus? I know it's in beta so I'm thinking on giving this game a go (haven't played a mmorpg over the loss of some online friends). I'm thinking about giving it a go tomorrow. Anyone want to join me?

If you like Lineage 2 you'll like Ferentus. It's a virtual clone in terms of gameplay and graphics. The characters are virtually identical as well as some other things about it

I tried playing L2 on my PC, but it was too laggy to be playable. I couldn't even get the first quest down. Maybe palying Ferentus will give me a taste of L2. Thanks for sharing that Old Man.

me too i emailed admin though and they have their tech guys working on it apparently they updated to fix bugs or something and a fluke happened.

no biggy though.....

Meh... I thought it was pretty dull. Bad character selection/customization, dull point and click combat, dull graphics, dull enviroment. No quest? Bad interface. Most things are done through commands.

But hey, maybe I didn't give it a chance... only played for like 30 min... so if you like it riki then report back here:D

i just started playing this game a few days ago on the west server, east goes down more but has more players but i live on west so =p

i wrote a hype all about this game u can see it on the game list, the build setups for each class arent normal mmo's this game is very unique i like to think of it as a daoc/lineage2 mix. for example as a summoner u would naturally go INT build being a caster and all while in this game summoners really on vit/dex and are usually archers or melee chars with spells and pets.

my ingame is haze on uswest msg me if u wanna group peace

reason enough for me to not even bother, Lineage 2 sucks IMO

Very very dull world. The city you start in is so big
that its so stupid how there is so little npcs.
The low amount of players in-game doesn't help either.
Though the character building system is nice.
You may as well play Silkroad. It uses the same exact template
as Ferentus in the graphical interface. Has a smaller city and larger
population. Though Silkroad isnt that great either.

Though this was my experience months ago.
Possible chance that the in-game population has increased.

I have a few high levels in silkroad but my online buddy went broke and dropped the guild so it's like I don't feel like going back. Kind of like how my guild dropped me for a bulls**t reason in Anarchy Online.
