I think it is a good idea. Console owners are a lot more upset about bugs then PC owners and they need to polish the game up somewhat.

Waiting several years would not be good either but launching around X-mas sounds like a good decision.

my previous joking aside for the moment, I do have to admit I am still confused as to why a game like Titanfall is only 6v6 and I wonder how an MMO could realistically work on a console with such limitations. I mean more than 6v6 has existed in gaming pretty much since the begining on multiplayer

That really sucks for the console people. Like the reddit guy that found this said "If I owuld have know, I would have happily bought the PC version."

On a positive note, no one can say Bethesda/Zenimax are hurting for money.

The 6v6 was a decision made by the Titanfall team lol. You do realize that BF4 on PS4 and X1 have 64 players online and run quite smoothly right? Also the MMO FFXIV runs just fine on PS4 with many players playing cross platform on PS4/PS3/PC.

    No signature, I don't have a pen

anyway, sorry to divert the conversation to console discussion. I do not like either ESO or consoles so I really havent much to contribute to the conversation other than flames.

Still enjoying the PC version and it has been a really smooth launch for me, but I can understand them wanting more time to fix it up for console players.

Console gamers expect a finished product for their money and raise hell if the product they receive is a buggy half-baked mess? Those monsters.

Are you serious the ps3 is 8 years old and you are complaining about them releasing too often? Life cycle for consoles are at 6 years + with microsoft saying they want the xbox one to last 10 years before the next release.

Console life cycle used to be 5 years with Nintendo stating they will follow a 5 year cycle. The thing is it benefits the companies to stretch release dates for consoles far out. So if they decide to not release a new console until 10 years you are stuck with it. The xbox 360 cycle was too long. It was way outdated by the time the xbox one came around. The sad thing is ps4/wiiu/xbox one are already so out dated on release. So maybe we will get one in 5 years if more people switch to PC

It also slows down the progress of PC games because developers want to port.

That said, the rumor is this generation of consoles will not be leading the way in game development and it could very well be the last console generation ever. Why? because of VR and Steam Machines
