Coming back into the MMO scene after a long break.

Hey guys, haven't played an MMO for a while and am looking for a new mmo based on a few things.

-Has a good amount of character customization (as in abilities and stats).

-Has a decent amount of world PvP

-Isn't completely dead or dying

-Has a cool/interesting crafting system

-Is more based on group/guild/party effort than individual, also has a high learning curve/difficulty.

-Has healers/support abilities or classes

-I prefer non-faction games to faction based, but it isn't necissary

 

Games I have played

Wow- Played a moderate amount, but a combination of how easy it was and a boring community made me decide it wasn't my kind of game.

Ryzom- I really like this game, but the lack of updates, terrible UI and near empty servers ruined it for me. Loved the community, crafting and customization however.

Eve- Not my kind of game, too slow and prefer being a single humanoid to a ship/boat. Also the exploration felt bland.

If you guys know any games that fits this please let me know. Thank you!

    Tbh, I don't think that mmo has been released yet(outside eve).  Maybe reorder the list here to show those that are releasing soon and see if any of those take your fancy.

    Well you could try Elder Scrolls Online, definitely a fun MMO to play with and a lot of customization. It doesn't have world PvP however, but you have a PvP zone Cyrodiil where you have a huge battle with all 3 factions. Besides that there's no PvP so it's up to you if you'd like that. For the rest Wildstar is a very good MMO imo, you should try out the open beta which have been released today. It's something similar to WoW, but it feels really fresh compared to it. You should check it out and base your opinion on it after level 15 or so :)

    there is nothing but the same rehashed themes over and over,  i am very sorry to report.

    having said that, there might be some decent upcoming games  released this year, though they are definately a decided taste

    over 20 years of mmorpg's and counting...
