Hi guys, what do you think is the best free MMORPG?
I've tested KalOnline, KnightsOnline, Eternal Lands and Silkroad Online
And in my opinion the best MMORPG is Silkroad Online. Theres only one Problem with Silkroad the Servers are alway full and its down at the moment!
Do you know better free MMORPGs?

the best "free mmo" is GW, it's not completely, you'll have to buy retail though, but it has the most varied experience to be coop with other free games, other than that, i would say they are all the same, silkroad, dekaron (korean though), knight online, anarchy online (t'ill 2007), gates to heaven, D.O. Online, and so on
and about silkroad, servers are down due to the upgrade for the third beta period (24th january).
I have a tree, a tree that's in my garde, but my garden's too small for the tree, so the tree is in my house, that means i don't have a house .... who am i anyway?
GunBound was always a fun game to play for a few hours if you ever got bored, not really an MMORPG, but it's still a fun MMO.
Runescape used to be awesome, but I havn't played it in a good few years, I remember not having to pay to play it.
Just downloaded the Gunz Beta, so hopefully this will be a good game, from what I've heard it will be.

Guild Wars - you ahve to buy it from a shop after you bought it will be free forever
Rakion - Its an MMO you use swords and that and you join other peoples games...
Runescape - I wouldn't reccomend but if you cant be arsed to download an mmorpg I would then reccomend it

Well I've done with GuildWars, played it till the end and i dislike the arena fights......
GunZ and Rakion are funny for a while bot you get bored soon
For Runescape, i think it is 2D? I really dislike 2D games sorry for that...
The best free MMORPG of all time has to be Strife: Age of Conflict it totally rules if you can't download or pay any money then thats the game you need to play oh yeah Duffman feels good thrust,thrust,thrust.

The world is not out to get you Mr. Casual. Stop working in RL and put some hours in the game like the rest of us. What's that? Your time in RL is more VALUABLE. Nuff Said.
I'm pretty certain Silk Road is in Open Beta. The closes thing to silk road in my opinion is Fung Wan Online which is free. But isnt very fun. Silk road is definetly the best free game to play right now in the states. A few things are going to be coming from Korea in the next year in the form of beta's that should actually be better then Silk Road. Like Granado Espada, SUN, and Ragnarok Online 2.
I say Guildwars (if that counts as free).

All of those held my attention for the same time as WoW for far less $.
Guild Wars is having a free event this weekend. I've heard a lot of good things so I started playing it this morning and I'm not all that impressed so far. The free weekend only revolves around PVP so I may try it again if they open up a free PVE trial.
I bought Minions of Mirth (one time fee of $25) and have been very happy with it. You can play online or keep it single player - they have a free demo so check it out if you're into that.
There's my two cents.
ferentus > silk road
-no hackers
-no character wipes
-progressing content
-better community
-better pvp
Ferentus just looks like Lineage?
And as I already said I'VE PLAYED GUILD WARS ALREADY!

Shattered Galaxy. Not a RPG but it has a free option and paid players don't RULE the world like most games of the sort... but they still do have quite the advantage.

Err but the game sucks; and the community is terrible since no one plays it (Also the design isn't there for being a community based game). I hate when people say "this game has a good community" If the game isn't explicitly a community game, then it really means "This game sucks, and doesn't have many people so the players that are on are very social with one another since its more like a small town where everyone knows each other."
Free MMO List
Definitely NOT KNIGHT ONLINE. They claim its free, but there is a catch, if you dont buy their premium service it is almost impossible to lvl at lvl 60+ and even worst, if anything goes wrong be mindufull that this game has no customer service support whatsoever (they claim they do but its ussually an automated response saying "sorry, we didn't get that, please try again" 4 days later). It is extremely bugged, if you dont have premium you won't be able to log in either, a new bug shows up every 2 days and the KE is even more bugged than the orignal KO. You are always getting disconnected or "server full" messages and lately "only for premium users" and as I mentioned before, customer service is non existent. So refrain from paying, play only for free, and if you are ever tempted to buy anything, save an extra 20 bucks(from cost of bronze premium, basic service) and buy guild wars. Clean game, 10000 the graphics and gameplay, no hacks and hardly any bugs, or play Navyfield; nice little free game.
The game that simply pawns them all with ease: Starport: Galactic Empires.
Very PVP, little character development, immense replay, massive community, hard, challenging, finished 2D graphics (in stead of buggy 3D graphics) and almost direct contact with the dev.
Although even most hardcore mmorpg-players run away crying.
Very few bugs, constantly developing...
Wars... You can REALLY build an empire. The perfect mix between RTS and MMO.
Tactics, espionage, backstabbing, drama, rising and falling empires,...
No grinding, micro and macro management, something for everyone,..
But most gamers are just too pussy to hang on.
