Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion

A while back I was surfing the web and came across a game called Fantasy Earth. Now being the big FF fan that I am i tried to do a little more research on the game but nothing has become clear to me.

Does anyone have any information about this game? Is it part of the Final Fantasy series? Is it or when will it be in BETA? Graphics look amazing as the anime style is more to my likeing but is SE really planning on producing this game? Any info would be greatimage

    A) No, it's not part of the Final Fantasy Series.
    B) Sign-ups for the Beta I think ended a couple days ago.
    C) Yes, it's being developed by Square-Enix. They announced a while ago after putting FFXI out in japan. That FFXI wouldn't be their last MMO. They also said that their next MMO after FFXI wouldn't be a FF title. Hence why this game was born. It was in the works back then as well.

    Well, im officially pumped that SE is putting together another MMORPG. I was impressed with how they handled FFXI (minus a few small issues). I hope they have learned from their mistakes and come up with something new and innovative. This has definatley grabbed a hold of my attention, guess i will just hope for the best ***crosses fingers***

    ps. anyone know if they planning on releasing it in Japan before releasing it to the US? If i remember right this is what they did with FFXI. Thanks much for the quick response, this was posted in the rumor room for more than a week with absolutley no feedbackimage. If anyone else has more info please add what you know. I need to know EVERYTHING!!!

    To my knowledge there are still no plans to release Fantasy Earth: ROD anywhere outside of Japan.

    graphics look pretty plain to me, especially after FFXI. I would expect more out of SE.
