is anyone else on here playing the russian version currently? i just followed the guide on ehre and got in to play... hoping to find some folks that play and speak english to help me understand the game.
also, anyone playing with the english patches? is it save to run all those proxies and VPNs like the instructions seem to say you have to do?

The proxy is needed for account creation only.
Ya they are pretty safe for the most part. Im playing right now. Im level 10 right now I think. I played for hours without even noticing it. My gf is really going to hate me when I start playing it for real...lol
Right now Im taking a little break to do homework and stuff and next week im going on vacation so I doubt I will be able to really help you any for awhile.
im in 2nd month playing in RU, no patches, nothing that break their rules except im from other region.
I use a screenshoot reader and goolge translate to help me out. But im not "playing for real", just trying diferente stuff around game, its my alfa, beta test
2 friends start playing using eng. patch, one was banned until 2038, other still playing, so no idea how bans work.

I'm playing on Russian servers for almost a week now.
I've been kicked out a few times with a message on my screen telling me "the Gods have detected me". Quite funny. However that was entirely my fault, for some reason I lost the settings in proxifier. So the Gods aren't that smart after all. The ban is not permanent, it wasn't even a ban, just a kick.
Playing on the Russian server is a solo experience. But it's still nice, I get to see all the stuff in game, and I'm really liking it. It's also in the little things, like the way mounts work and the gliding thing. I also like the fact they choose for a simple questing system. Not to much focus on the cinematic feeling, not to much focus on story. Just something to keep you busy.
Meh, not a real punishment, he'll just AFK it.
