cant wait i heard xl is going to give crafters ability to craft airships WOW.

i heard XL games is looking to give crafters ability to craft airships? HOLY COOL IS THAT? What other mmorpg lets you do THAT? seriously, what cant you craft in this game? :p

    FFXIV has been talking about that for like 5 years now... though if AA beats FF to it, then hats off to them.

    Really?  FFXIV launched in 2010, then was entirely revamped, and now rereleased this year.

    I remember people asking YoshiP about craftable airships about a year ago and he said it was on the table down the road for an ex pack or something.

    5 years? I don't think so.

    Wow did have airships since 2007 but no one could craft them.

    Flying Machine and Turbo-Charged Flying Machine, both crafted via engineering, were added in Patch 2.3, 11/13/07.

     

    There's also now the Sky Golem (engineering), three kinds of flying carpet (tailoring), and the Sandstone Drake (alchemy).

     

    Edit: Oh, and I think the jewelry crafted tiger-things can fly? Not really sure, haven't played the game much for eons.

    Those arent airships though. An airship is a boat with a balloon attached.

    Yea none of those really qualify for airship title.  Regardless, the OP's account is just an archeage cheerleader.  This game deserves serious positive news and reviews, but not from someone with the name Archeage2014.

    Trion has said that this will not be happening. Just the flight-path style ones.
