A 3rd Weapon Set Viable?

Moar61Moar61 Member UncommonPosts: 260

Well I just downloaded Wykkyd's Outfitter so now that I can save loadouts, I'm wondering if a 3rd weapon is viable? I'm a Templar which bounces between healing and ranged dps (healing for dungeons, dps for pve, whatever's need in PVP). Since I can save loadouts I' figured I could have a loadout that's dedicated healing, dedicated dps, and a hybrid, so I was thinking of picking up a 2h or something along those lines for up close dps.

Is there enough skill points in the game to make this build viable? Keep in mind I only mastered one profession (clothing, it's maxed out). Currently VR1

More than enough points. Especially if you consider that most people don't take all of the active skills in a weapon line.

Even if you did, it's only 20 points to take and morph everything and all the passives. You could probably do 4 or 5 if you wanted to.

All you need to do is buy the first skill of the 3rd weapon set that interests you. Stick that on your bar and the skill will level, if at a later date you decide you want to switch or try to run three at a time you can. But trying to run 3 at a time at low levels would be a skill hog. As a V1 with only one craft I can't see number of skill points being an issue at all.

I can see them maybe even bringing in the option of a 2nd setup that you can switch to for raids / pvp etc in the future, as the Veteran ranks increase

My main I have every craft leveled up, so I only have enough points for like 1.5 weapons, but on my alts I'm running 3-4 weapon styles that I can switch depending on what is needed.  My VR4 nightblade is a tank, a healer, a bowman, and a stealthy khajiit assassin.  I can switch skills and weapons out manually depending on what is needed for the dungeon or whatever I want to play in PvP.  Where my VR10 is pretty much stuck as a tank, that uses shield for bosses and dual wield for trash, because I have like 150 or so skill points put into crafting everything.

At Vr8 I have all but Resto staff maxxed out on weapons.  Totally viable.

My main doesn't craft though, so all my points go toward combat so in that case it's very viable.
