Yeah im biased. I love the game and i played more then him. Also in all this time ive come across 1 time where i had to relog to fix a bug, nothing else nor gamebreaking. Elder scrolls online is a fantastic game and yeah its not for everyone but what game is ? There's so minor bugs you come across but no biggy. This game is brand new.
Dont let all the yelling and screaming haters scare you away. This game is way way, wayyyyyyyy better then they'd let you to believe.
It reminds me of when i skipped starwars galaxies because of all the complaining i saw reading the forums and till this day i still regret that i didnt buy it back then because also till this day i still hear how awesome that game was but no i let myself being scared away from the game coz of all the hate going on.
Dont make the same mistake.

You brought up Star Wars Galaxies in the same sentence with this game. This isn't going to end well.
On-topic, i simply disagree with you. No hard feelings or anything, I just don't agree. The game is full of bugs, though they are being worked on, but there's still a ton of bugs. ZOS has valiantly fought bots, but now it's getting a bit embarrassing. When they kill one method the bots use, they immediately find ways to resume their evildoings. This will continue until the end of time, or until ESO isn't popular anymore.
Vampire's ruled pvp ruthlessly for the entire first month which was ridiculous, and though they got nerfed, they still found a way to be almost just as broken. I went through to VR 10, ran every dungeon, and explored every zone on the map. I know the game well. My personal issues with the game revolve around the fact that I, and many others, had to find ways to circumvent the broken questing in veteran content to get to VR10. The Veteran grind through two other zones is a gigantic turn-off and there are no other viable options for leveling that matter.
The story though, is top notch, and the gameplay is engaging. After hitting 50 and completing the story I felt satisfied that I had just had a great experience and the box was well worth the buy, but what followed was not worth a subscription. That is simply my opinion and reflects no one else but myself. At the end of the day, this is up to ZOS. If they can find ways to offer people that hit 50 real alternatives for progression and meaningful gameplay inside that space, then things might just turn around.
That is definitely the truth. The game has positive attributes and they get lost in the fray. The negatives shouldn't be tossed aside either. Really, i suppose it's simply about how much players can forgive in the game. Some have a very high threshold in tolerating problems, and others are very skittish. The game should be ok, and will settle with a medium sized community when it's all said and done. This is usually a good thing.
Oh really? What are the vampires up to these days? Hard to imagine it's close to a zero cost ultimate.
I wonder how much VR content will hurt this game, while at first blush it seems like a huge time sink that will delay players from reaching the sad 3 dungeon end game is a good idea, but it also just kills alting. I couldn't even make it to level 7.
