So where is the first content update?

Wasnt that the preaching of everyone defending this game? "It isnt perfect and there isnt a lot to do but they will be updating it every 4-6 weeks". Remember all that?

Well its been 6 weeks, I havent seen any updates, I havent even seen an announcement talking about one.

I thought there might be a cricket emote; there isn't.

still in testing i suppose? sounded like they were ready to release it 2 weeks ago, they must have found some pretty bad bugs that needed fixing before rolling it out.

Its slated for the next patch. Reading the dev tracker helps, alot.

Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

Craglorn was supposed to be release at the end of april, and I don't think we will see it before the end of May.

Remember this content was made before the release, so if it takes 2 months to debug & fix an already made content, don't expect an other content update 4 months after the release of Craglorn. (Justice system, Brotherhood quests, ...)

I'll cut them some slack since this is their first update. Heck even ff14 ARR couldn't keep on schedule with their first major update either. If they can't stick to that 4-6 week window though you will see a lot of people jumping ship.

You know the endgame is in a sad state when people are waiting for content 1 month after release.

I'm pretty sure they are going to be a bit behind until they get the bot issues taken care of.

Doomed! This game is doomed I say!

Likely this coming week. Monday or Thurs. They had said they were doing it this week be later retracted.

Another team would be taking care of that. It wouldn't really cause that much of a delay in a content update to deal with a bot.

Actually people are saying it's too soon. Check the forums.

Only a very small portion of the player base 10% tops, has even made it to "max level" of VR10. That's why you have not seen any "I beat the game" threads.

Relax, they've got like 8 months until the real release, not like there is any rush.

I don't think OP owns the game.

I know I wouldn't want to have new content ruined by tons of bots as soon as its released.

I think this is the first time I've heard someone express worry about bots ruining raid content.

Probably did a smart thing and decided its more important to fix the game first before introducing even more (potentially broken) content and properly test new content.

Though it doesnt add much to the value of the game if they start breaking their promises on first content patch. But yeah, if youre still playing you should have expected this considering in what state game was released.

im trying it for 30 days they have that long to get their act together I need a themepark to offset my archeage addiction but as of now I am not at all hopeful that this game has a future
