Played the trial and maybe logged in 3 or 4 times. The movement is not standard WASD , the interface has no tool tips , text lines in vendor screens (no icons to show the item), cant see what spells do, no casting bar, no gamma controls , plethora of slash commands
Name another MMORPG that has a worse UI ?

lol 1/2 the stuff you said isnt true. (you can find what spells do, its just a different command), and the movement not being standard WASD, dunno what your cookin, all i had to change for myself was the mouse. WASD/UDLF both worked, i just prefered the mouse settings closer to SWG styled movement so thats what i did. and whats wrong with slash commands exactly?
Worse UI
Saga of Ryzom is by far much much much worse, its the main thing that stops players from playing if they are popping their SoR cherry. its the reason i stopped too. I also hated the Ragnarok UI
if anything DAOC to me went with one of the most classic styled UIs out there....Health, hotkey bar, Compass, and chat window...what exactly is bad about the actual UI? not alot....
Yeah, sorry, while I admit the UI is one area of the game that does need some improvement, prolly one of the areas that need the most improvement, almost everything you stated is just false. Just shows that you're really just here to troll...

Question:
Is there a full UI mod that a lot of people tend to use? If so anyone got a link?
-doro
Derida's is prolly the most popular one out there, though there are several other full mods that are nice (personally I think I have about 4 or 5 that I use on various machines and times).

She has stopped working on it though, so while it works currently as new patches come out it might not support features in the future depending on what gets added or changed in upcoming patches. I also should throw out the disclaimer that we don't support custom UIs. We encourage their use and have facilitated their creation and implementation, but if you experience problems the first thing customer support is going to tell you is to uninstall the custom UI and troubleshoot from there...

The UI I just started using based on several ingame friends recommendations is Emerikol's Mod.
I really like it,does most everything I want it to do,and it looks good.

Hmm
WASD is an option depending on what keyboard config you choose. Either use the KEYBOARD Button that is on the bottom right of your screen when you first launch the game or use /keyboard to bring up the options to reconfigure which keyboard config to use (there are several choices and you can custom config it as well).
Tool tips? If you mean "float the cursor and get a tip" yea there are no tool tips. But there is extensive information on the UI under /help (or the HELP button) on that bar that is down on the right.
Vendor screens absolutely have icons. Are you crazy? Somehow I don't think you've actually shopped at a vendor. The icons are smaller than in WOW (where everything is friggen huge) but they are there.
You can see not only what spells DO but exactly what their values, resists and damage types are as well. By simply right clicking on the spell icon and hittin I (or Shift-I, depending on which keyboard config you are using).
Casting Bar? No there is no 'casting bar' why would you want a 'casting bar'? If you mean a button bar for your spells to go on? Yes, there absolutely is. It's at the top left of your screen by default and you can have up to 3 SEPARATE bars on your screen, each with 10 banks of button slots. So you have 300 slots available to put buttons on if you want to.
Gamma controls? Did you GO to the options screen on the char select screen? Graphics controls are there.
/command simply type /help commands and you'll get a HUGE list of what /commands are available.
Oh... and you can download 3rd party custom UI's if you don't like the look/feel of the ones provided with the game.
The UI is a little clunky but not one single thing you said is true.
