Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLuG8TSAcsI
We're open to any and all feedback. Negative and positive! We want to know!
Also: We know the audio is a bit loud on the first video, but it does get better!

I think you did quite good i watched the video linked and i acctuly watched it and didnt close it asap haha.Video quality is good your voices sound good so thats always a plus but one of you was quite loud and had alot of popping so mabey sit away from mic or get a popfilter? also your website is nice and clean with what looks like a well presented review of ESO ( sorry havent read it just skimmed it abit )
Overall i say keep at it guys
Edit: also mabey try to avoid talking over cutscenes? if someone is watching for the story of a game it can be abit annoying.
Watched the video , sorry guys but I found it more irritating than funny, there are hundreds of Youtuber's that are making videos shouting and screaming and trying to be funny , its takes more than this to pull it off though. Why don't you try being more informative and in depth about the game instead of trying to be funny with every sentence or action. Maybe try to just let the funny moments happen naturally.
All that being said , most certainly keep doing it , I'm sure you'll find your niche and viewers if you keep at it.
You sound like really nice guys and I wish you well with your venture , kudos fo having the balls to put it here on mmorpg.com too !
The small amount I watched it seemed to be simply joking around on top of a cutscene which otherwise could have been interesting.
Dog barking should not be included. You might want to invest in better microphones and cams. Most people want to see the author behind videos these days. Not a requirement from me, but it sure is a ongoing trend.
The sound of the game is reduced when you guys talk which I find annoying. It just doesn't feel right when the game itself is almost muted as soon as you talk.
The sound seems to be the same on each earphone for me. Many smaller channels usually have more sound on one side than the other. This is extremely annoying to me, but you seem to have it sorted.
Keep at it, only way to success is hard work. As mentioned above there are tons of channels with loudmouths, which I don't like personally but it does seem to be a popular thing.
Play games and make content you find fun yourselves, forcing fun does not make it fun to watch.
Just my few tips, although I have no experience with it myself.
Try build up a core audience, play some more niche games and expand from that. AAA games are already covered too much.
A few things to note..
A: Get better mics... Get A LOT better at balancing your audio. The audio was honestly atrocious and each time you raised your voices you blew the audio right out.
B: Get a script, i am not saying you need to script everything out but write down some good info on the game/company/series as it will make your videos interesting and kind of stand out.
C: Do something new... Everybody and their dog is making let´s play videos these days. Try to bring something new to the concept or find a niche.
Don´t try to be funny. Let funny happen if it happen but try to be serious about what you do. That is not the same as boring but if i want to listen to two dudebro´s monkeying around i have several hundreds other videos to choose from and honestly most of the have more routine then you guys do.
E: Stay away from the shouting, recording-class mic´s with a good audio tech working them have a hard time picking up shouting correctly. My guess is that you are not using that.. Nor that you have a audio technician to work the levels on the fly.
F: Do not be afraid to re-record... There is no point in running these live.. again that is done and over.
You do have a decent foundation and you are not the worst let´s play i have seen.. heck you are far from it. But scale things back until you get good at the let´s play part and then you can add the comedy.
This have been a good conversation
I will just say probably what been said
1 - Sort out the mic volume - I found i had to turn my pc volume down, Dont need to hear you shout / talk too quietly
2 - Do some prep, watching guys have to go through logging into xbox live / play online etc, dont need to do this
3 - Find something a little more unique, as peeps have put there are reams of 'how to/play time youtubes' today, try something a little more different.
4 - Having to watch 15minutes or so for just about 3-5minutes of actually things to do with the game were tiresome, even during cutscenes / downtime of videos talk about the game / developers, give people knwoledge, dont try to be funny every line, people watch these vids for info.
Good luck with it, just iron out some of more the childish elements and should be good to go
This post is all my opinion, but I welcome debate on anything i have put, however, personal slander / name calling belongs in game where of course you're welcome to call me names im often found lounging about in EvE online.

Hi guys,
I would like to start by thanking you all for the feedback. It means a lot to us. There are definitely some things we need to iron out, and I think with some tweaks mentioned here, we could really have something.
You guys have given us a lot to think about. But Chris (My partner) insists that I link to you guys Video 3 because he believes that Video 1 was our worst (Being the first we ever did) and we "Improved" on the third video.
I did not want to do this, but I'll have to ask for your feedback again.
This is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwmmu7KPodU
I say we should change it up a bit, maybe make it so that the videos have less chatting and more skipping to good gameplay moments. But he INSISTS that I do this.
So all I ask (and I do apologize for this) is to give this one a listen.
Chris agreed that if the feedback is similar, that we will come up with a new game plan and go from there.
PS: We're also looking for anyone that would be interested in the Pompous Gamers project (see: pompousgamers.com)
If you are interested in doing reviews or videos with us, for us, whatever, you are more than welcomed! We don't get paid for this, we just do it for fun and for the gamers. Reviews and Videos by Gamers for Gamers.
Cheers guys.
