Marvel Heroes: Anniversary Update AMA with Jeff 'Doomsaw' Donais - THURSDAY

Join us Thursday, May 22 at 7PM EDT in our Marvel Heroes subforum for a live Q&A with Gazillion's Jeff 'Doomsaw' Donais.

Please keep in mind that Thursday's Q&A is NOT a discussion thread. Simply submit your questions in the thread (or follow-up questions to any of Jeff's answers) and allow him a chance to answer.

Remember to be respectful and courteous with your questions. Disrespectful questions, comments, or outright trolling will be dealt with harshly by our moderation team.

While you can feel free to ask Doomsaw about anything Marvel Heroes, Gazillion will be celebrating the game's first anniversary in early June with a major game update, so we'd encourage you to ask any questions you have on all the new goodies!

A couple of those goodies include:


  • New Surtur Raid System Concludes Asgard Storyline

  • Omega Level Augmentation System

  • Massive Festivities for One Year Anniversary Celebration

    I would not like to ask Doomsaw, but rather MMORPG.com instead:

    Can you please re-review the game and take away that very unfair 5.6 score you gave ?

    The game is NOTHING like what it used to be, it has come leap and bounds to be the best APRG at the moment, and I think a re-review is necessary.

    Yea... I thought the launch was terrible.  I've found it to be one of my most fun games (currently).  I too think a re-review is in order.

    It needs to be re-reviewed badly cause it's a different game altogether now from when it launched.

    My Question to Doomsaw: Any plans to add mechanics like Spirit Drain to the raid bosses? Alot of players are always telling me the basic attacks are very lackluster and to try and build builds with no basics and something like spirit drain would make them more important in the meta imo.

    My Question to Doomsaw: There is a chance to add Spanish as language option and to activate subtitles to the cinematics? Spanish and deaf friends would really appreciate that.

    I love this game so much. The game is fantastic and keeps getting better. The one thing really sets it apart though is the amazing developers and community reps. They take feedback, suggestions, and speak to the players all to make the game better.

    It's good news that this will be receiving a Re-Review! Would be great if it's after we get the Surtur Raid!

     

    One-Shots seem like a great concept too, hope we see more this year!

     

    Anyway, what are the chances we'll see a playable Rachel Summers in the future? Her omission from the game in any form thus far is a very glaring flaw in my opinion considering how important she is to the X-Mythos.

    Best ARPG(and possibly MMO) on the F2P market currently.  I believe MMORPG gave it a 5.8 at launch, yet gave ESO a 7.9.  I believe amends are in order.

    Some of my friends tried the game and find it overwhelming at the begining. Besides I love it, I think there is a lot of things that could be better explained in-game (Most things I had to learn from forums), so my question is... any plan of a better tutorial at the start? Maybe before you choose the starter.

    Good times! I own too many heroes to level. Events like the current Midtown Madness are just great loot dropping fests :-)

    j aimerais qu revoit sur le Système de prestige! pourquoi pas partir sur non Système de paragnon Comme Diablo3 (ps: c est Vraiment de exigeante Demander un joueur niv 60 de Redescendre lvl 1).

    It's a code for everyone -- but it will only be enabled for a limited time. You should be fine though. :)
