Aeria Games has announced that the F.E.A.R. Online beta will begin on May 26th. The team has taken feedback from alpha testers and applied it to the forthcoming beta client. Interested fans are invited to head to the F.E.A.R. Online site to sign up prior to the start of the beta.
Tensions will reach a boiling point as the F.E.A.R. task force investigates Armacham Technology Corporation (ATC)’s unsettling experiments. F.E.A.R. Online will remain focused on several team combat modes spanning over ten ominous maps packed with grotesque details such as still-twitching bodies hanging from meat hooks and messages smeared in blood.
The story also continues in cooperative scenarios that detail the terrifying occurrences surrounding the F.E.A.R. team parallel to the events of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. Up to four players can team up and fight for their lives against both hostile Armacham personnel and hideous monsters lurking around every corner. All will be revealed soon.

Huh, wonder if they'll take the hellgate: london route where there are different hubs you can log into as you progress through the story, craft, sell/buy, and join groups, then go out and do "dungeons", which in this case, will probably be L4D-style co-op missions.
At least, I'm assuming they'll take the more generic route.
You make me like charity
I had fun once, it was terrible.
Or maybe you just grow up in mean time. :-) Played on PS, but on PC I do not play 1st person games. Unless also 3rd, which does not looks to me, it is out of my radar.
