The Beautiful Game

Hi everyone,

I think we all know how it feels to get overly excited about a new MMO coming out. We also know how it feels to be let down by what we eventually receive as a final product. While I think every game should be given credit because I believe developers and programmers truly love what they do, sometimes their passion gets pushed to the side because they must meet a deadline. I guess what I am trying to say is I am looking for a new game.  Not a game that has exactly what I want because that is selfish. For example,  I am not pvp'er, but  I am finding myself more open to the idea of complete open world pvp, maybe with a flagging system like SWG (which I never played, I just read about it). I want a game that involves teamwork, and while I respect the solo aspect of MMO's that are around today, teamwork seems to be what is truly missing in my humble opinion. By teamwork, I mean teamwork in all forms, pve, pvp, and crafting.

You know, I love this genre and I just want to see it succeed. I don't care about hating on another game if I don't like it because it's just truly a waste of time to do so, only constructive criticism makes sense to me. Why are we all here? On this website in particular? Because we love this stuff, we love to talk about our epic battles, and our epic adventures. I want to be able to play a game that includes everybody, from every type of game. I don't care if you don't agree with everything I like in an mmo, I still want to play a game and have fun with YOU, and  the MMO community. I am a native San Antonian, straight from the great state of Texas and I saw a video that just made me feel good inside. You will see why, but it also made me feel like if we captured the essence of what the video speaks on then maybe we can, or a company can, develop the next great and respectful MMO. All I want is the beautiful game. Enjoy.
