As you might imagine, I’ve been eagerly anticipating Psylocke’s release since Marvel Heroes’ launch last June, and now that she’s finally here, I wanted to take this week’s column to share my first impressions. First off, the character looks awesome.

    She definitely looks awesome in the model and in game. Her move set looks pretty bad ass as well. I haven't gotten her or tried her out in the test center yet so i can't really judge her. She was just released so I'm sure they will be doing some tweaks to her.

    Nice to see MMORPG doing featured game play articles on M.H. , perhaps one of the best games on the "rise"!

    I have almost all of the heroes maxed out and I'd put her in the middle of the pack. She's about average compared to everyone else, but she's a cool character with decent animations. She's worth playing if you like her in the comics, but anything she does other heroes do better.

    I leveled her to about 45.  She's really not a favorite of mine at all in terms of gameplay.

    That is also a video with skills that were over tuned and doing more damage then they were suppose to do.

     

    Not to mention that other currently released heroes can do that same Terminal in half the time or less.

     

    While yes she is a fun hero, Gaz recently has been pretty terrible on their Hero releases and 52 Reviews.

    To me she's been really fun to play as. But all of the complaints you hear all boil down to the same thing with any type of class, you have to find your own play style because everyone is different so builds you my see should only be a guideline not something to swear by.

    Unfortunately, she's not a favorite of mine (gameplay-wise), either. But I really want her to be. I pretty much set up all my gear for her. I'm really hoping they spruce her up; it feels dirty thinking about playing other characters now that Betsy is out!

    It seems pretty typical for them to launch new heroes as middle of the pack and buff them in a rework. It's probably a good way to go because if they did the normal and cheesy new = op then nerf once people have paid they'd end up with unhappy customers.

    No one is ever unhappy about a buff.

    She's really strong but like with all the other heros it'll take a few weeks before people really understand her and how to gear her. Melee isn't easy in this game :)
