How do you build a lore-filled world like Nexus? A week before WildStar’s launch, we interviewed Creative Director Chad Moore on everything from the genesis of this epic story, to where he’d like to take us in the future.

Check out Gareth Harmer's WildStar: Creating Lore with Moore Part 2.

So, another MMORPG with solo instances, and another situation evolving like WoW, where in the future, the developer intends to start telling the story through books and comics instead of in the game itself.

Business as usual, and yet another disappointing triple A release.

I like the fact that a lot more attention is being paid to the storyline then just some celery being escorted.   Its these small details in storylines that really get a person who loves RPG,  side quests and storylines that branch out in many diverse ways.   I think wildstar has a great team for planning out features in a game, now if only I could get them to make a game that's more realistic for my tastes.

What!? Yes WS have solo instance on your house plots (if you want them, you could want to never have this thing on your house plot) but you get dungeons and big raids... I really don't see why you're complaining they have just put everything in there.

Awesome... All these little types of extra content in Wildstar...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

It really is a fascinating story, they didn't do the best job of baiting players into it during the gameplay but if you do take the time to read some of the data cubes something will catch your interest and pull you into the story as a whole.

Only reason I'm not excited about this game due to the fact NC Soft made it and I would not spend anymore money on them ever since the Tabula Rasa event.

Judging by the limited number of posts here I would say there aren't that many excited for this game. That and the hype on this game dropped drastically the closer to release it has come.

I beta tested this game and though it has some nice design I just did not get into it. I felt disconnected from the world and the "Been here, done it" feel just was constantly there.

This game made me think that if WoW and SWTOR had a baby it would be this.
