I'll wait for release, but I'm still very interested in Archeage, besides their will be a character wipe anyway.
Questions :
1) I somewhat like PvP, but I just read a topic about low level ganking. With all the abilities can you make a stealth or rogue class that can avoid PvP when needed ?.......If so, will it be effective agents high level players ?
2) I guess there will be PvE servers....But I don't think there would be much to do if your not preparing for PvP...am I right ?
3) Dungeon's, I always loved them. Every now and then I see someone mention them, but very little. Does this game have any good long Dungeons ?
4) I'm pretty much taking it that AA does not have a box price. I would be ok with one anyway, and will be subbing monthly. But if no box price, this would give me that money to spend in the cash grab ?.....I HATE CASH SHOPS !
5) Crafting, I've never been much of a crafter. I just can't get into the time sink. I asked this in the middle of another topic, but because it was a different topic I didn't really receive an answer.
Of curse I'll do some. Buy some land have a little shack and small farm. But in no way would it be even close to adventuring,
Will I be severally gimped ?

about the pvp part..
i cant understand ppl that are worried about pvp in a pvp game setting, this is what makes pvp games fun and a sense of urgency
about the PVE server..
i have not herd anything about them adding JUST pve servers ..they didnt do it in two other countrys so why would they do it just for this one? if they do , shame on them for catering to the carebears just to change their game to suit a certain crowds needs..the game wasnt made for it and they shouldnt do it..thats like ordering a cheese burger but you want chicken on the burger instead..
OK, well this is why I have questions....Now I know theirs no PvE servers, No prob.

My opinion is based in my little experience in ru servers.
1 - Not much experience in pvp yet, someone might help you more about this one.
2 - There is no plans atm to have a pve server, dont have the source but remember earing that in some trion stream.
3- AA is not dugeons centric thas why ppl dont talk much about it, only did the 1st one and try the 2nd, pretty normal ones, nothing special or diferent.
4- As far we know, AA will be f2p (with some features limit) with the option of patron status (like monthly fee) bought from cash shop, yes it will have a cash shop.
5- Craft is a big important feature on AA, the time sink is gather the materials and you can pass this, just make gold in other ways and buy it from others.
Having played a fair bit during alpha and loving the game i will give you some info from my own point of view, however, i am not playing at the moment because i dont want to OD on thegame before release, but this will be my goto game
1 - Ive yet to play anything rogue / stealthy however upto level 30 ive not encountered 1 gank, its only when you start doing trade runs and having to farm on the openworld that it comes a problem but even this can be avoided with good plannin.g
2 - No PVE servers, as the game is pvp - however, that doesn't mean you HAVE to pvp
3 - only done the one and seemed ok, can't comment for end game not yet there and probably wont be until the game relases
4 - I dont believe this will have a box set other than the DLC you can buy now, but i would suggest stumping up for the beta set even if it was jsut for the headsstart, this headstart will be invaluable in the long given the limited space for farms
5 - This games crafting is the BEST ive experienced since EvE , so in depth and the game is intertwined with pve/pvp and crafting, you cannot do anyone of the others without the others.. you dont have to do it to extent of indepth but having basic farm / etc will help no end to do the other things.
This post is all my opinion, but I welcome debate on anything i have put, however, personal slander / name calling belongs in game

Characters from Alpha WONT be wiped !!!
They will transfer those characters to the TEST server for future testing.
1.Up to level 30 you are in safe zones, only pirates can attack you i think but the chanse of that happening is almost 0 percent.
Tons of people have a stealth build for numerous reasons, you can stealth with a tradepack on your back and walk to the NPC to deliver said tradepack.
Stealth is also a realy good tree for archers / rogues gameplay, but i heared they are going to change some talents to both archery / rogue tree's to make it less mandatory.
2.There will be no PVE servers as this game is PVP centric
3. There are dungeons and its wwhat you can expect from them, but they wont offer the best of the best gear as that is deep in the crafting profesions wich makes the most brutal gear you can have.
4.Trion has said that the cash shop will only include vanity items like skins / appearence stuff, much like Rift has.
5. Crafting is realy deep in Archeage there are 20+ crafting professions and you will be gimbed if you do not craft your own weaepons and gear.
Once you have crafted your 1st gear set you can upgrade it every few levels to make it better instead of crafting a whole new set.
At max level (50) it will be harder and harder to upgrade your gear due to a little RNG.
And you wont see many people with the best in slot gear for quite some time as it costs you tons and tons of gold / mats to get the BIS gear.
I also want to add that Archeage is not for the people who like solo play, you will have an extremely hard life without a guild to support you.
For some this is a burden, but for many its a relief that there is finaly an mmo that makes you play the mmo part together instead if a lobby game
Currently Archeage is the mmo i have been waiting for !
It only took almost a decade to get an mmo like this and i am having tons and tons of fun.
