What happened to the ratings of the top 7 games?

I remeber them being in the 8.0's, but this morning they dropped like a few tenths over night?::::37::

    Because that new shite game got released or something and people have rated it highly causing the other ratings to go down in a balance.

    The ratings will go back to normal soon, thats what i hate about the system tho because it effects everything else.

    the graphics remind me abit of EQ1.

    This rating thing just brings up the idea again of having a full wipe of all ratings and start fresh.

    Why is it so shite? I believe you're probably talking about Minions of Mirth. Have you tried playing it to form an opinion?

    So, maybe it hasn't got the greatest graphics, perhaps it still needs "fleshing out" a little, the community maybe got a little over excited with their initial rankings on here.

    But it is far from a shite game. There is a lot going for it. The current community is pretty good and very helpful. The cost of just $25 with no monthly fees is brilliant. I certainly got my money's worth withing the first couple of days playing. One of the best features is the ability for players to contribute to the storyline, create quests for submission in the main game and host their own world server.

    Overall, great value, pretty good fun and far from a shite game.

    Suspect someone on a Minions of Mirth fansite posted telling people to come here to hype their game.  It'll balance out fairly quickly.

    there should be 2 rating systems. one rating during beta. when the game goes gold the rating should be wiped and started again.

    I would imagine that every new game comes in with a high rating since it takes 20 ratings to make it to the "chart".

    Those 20 generally coming from fan boys of course :)

    The cool thing about time + the Internet is that in the end the rating should be fair :)
