in Final Fantasy XIV
I live in NA. If I were to purchase an EU version, can I still play the game?

    I believe so I can create characters on all regions as I tried JP server before.

    No. You choose a server cluster for the region that you want to play in after you launch the client.

    Payment would be processed in your native currency though. At least for me it is USD.

     Yes and no. You can play in any region regardless of which version you purchased. However, you can only pay for the subscription for the account with a credit card that is from the same region as the version you purchased. So, if you buy the copy in NA you can only pay the sub with a credit card from NA and if you buy a copy from EU you can only pay for the sub with a credit card from the EU.

     I had to buy a new account because I bought my game from the US but live in the EU and after my free month ran out I found out there was no way to pay it, so I had to buy another copy of the game from EU and create a new account and start all over.
