Game Looks Interesting - 1 Question
Hi everyone,
Is the leveling in this game all about questing like WoW, ESO, SWTOR, etc? Are there other ways to level up besides doing quests (dungeons, pvp, crafting) and I mean viable ways to level, not "technically possible". I'm thinking about trying this out but if all I can do to level is quest I think I'll pass. Just to be clear, I want to know if I can get to max level without ever doing a quest (I hate them that much).

Interesting, thank you for your reply. I'll have to go do some research on what pvp is like but I'm glad that the option exists. Would you happen to know how dungeons work for leveling? What level do you have to be to start them, do they give decent exp, are they somewhat challenging, is there a LFG tool, etc?

this is whats wrong with the mmo gamers of today..."i want this new title
but not wanting to play the game and wanting max lvl"...i really just cant understand it? why even play? just to have the game and tell your friends your maxed lvl by doing nothing?
smh..so you want a game to play that you can lvl up by....
1 not doing quests
2 not pvping
3 not crafting
4 not achieving anything in game
maybe there will be a game some day where all you do is sit in town and chat as you gain lvls..untill then ..no..you will have to do something

im sure you could just tag along with ppl in a group n get xp in dungeons and pvp but doing quests will be faster..the game is REALLY easy as are the quests to lvl
I've heard that doing the lvl 35 dungeon at lvl 35 grants you 2 levels.
Hopefully someone could confirm or reject.
Maybe someone knows an updated version of this, but in one of the lower level zones there is a zone boss that respawns every 15 minutes. In beta, people were leveling in just hours killing the boss over and over. I know one guy who leveled from 13-19 in about 2.5 hours.
No idea if they have changed anything about this but for folks who hate to quest, this is an option. Boss drops no loot btw, nor gives any faction rep. Just xp and lots of it. Check youtube for MetalMaw. I think there is a boss like this in every zone.
You're gonna need about 20-40 people to kill MetalMaw. So, unless there are a large group of people doing this over and over. I doubt this is a viable option to level.
