I am really anticipating the arrival of this game , but am curious as to which if any of the other SWG vets who recently quit are planing on giving this game a chance.   I believe it to be worth it but im still heaart broken  so im up for some rebound action..lol

    yeah, ima give it a shot, year on half year off half year on canceled acct. I guess im a vet, shrug. Looks awsome though. Atleast it's sci-fi. While DnL which i see a majority of peeps from the bria server are heading isn't related to it at all.

    It's amazing how many people in the MMO community are former SWG players. You'd think that SWG was the number one MMORPG. I don't see this game as a replacement for SWG. The gameplay is far too shallow. It will be awhile before a game like SWG comes along again.

    I think the high number of current/previous SWG players shows the potential SWG has/had.  When SWG failed to satisfy and now alienated it's loyal base, well, even more are searching for something to fill the void.

    Having never played SWG, I cant really comment on it, but this game looks completely different, apart from the sci-fi theme. But!... what do I know? Just have to w8 and fnd out won't we. Looks good though.

    Yeah I'm a former SWG player, as well as many many many MMORPGs (most recently WoW). Definately give this game a chance, I'm sure you won't regret it.

    There will be a lot to look forward to in this, especially since the game will focus a lot on RvRvR, like DAoC but better :)

    Can't say I'm really a vet of SWG. Only played for 6 months and never really made it high enough. The game imo needed alot of time dedication (still believe it kicks ass though ::::39::). But RF seems like a good rep on the sci-fi part. Also like the anime style of the graphs! ::::20::

    Kinda crazy its almost as if a million people came out of no where and were like " i need a MMO".   In reality were just loking for that new home.  Hey thanks for the tips and opinions guys, i wasnt for sure where others were standing right now

    Can someone clarify what SWG is or as it seems was, is it by anychance Star Wars Galaxies??? If so why did it fall, or did the monthly cost just get up high and why was it so popular?::::02::
