Prepare to burn as Surtur takes center stage in the latest Marvel Heroes Update!
We're pleased to announce the launch of Marvel Heroes 2015! Celebrating a year's worth of content, features and game modes, Marvel Heroes 2015,and the month-long event that kicks it off, brings players daily shared quests, trading, alternate advancement systems, and an epic end-game raid for 10 players against the massive ruler of fire demons himself, Surtur.
New Features:
Surtur Raid: The aforementioned ruler of fire demons headlines an epic end-game event for 10 players.
Omega System: Advance, alternately. The Omega System allows for even further character customization and progression up to and beyond level 60.
Daily Shared Missions: A new way to undertake missions and adventures reserved for Earth's mightiest.

You have a week to collect the gifts. You just need 1 hero to get to 30 to unlock the quest to get the items. You can get to 30 in a couple hours depending on what you do in game. Xdefense and Holo Sim are a great way to level faster. If you complete story mode 1 time you should be around level 30 if not over by the time you are done. It's really not a "make you" it's honestly level progression as you play the game.
It takes less than one evening to get to 30. If you can't be bothered to do that then maybe you don't deserve the gifts?
Some people would complain if they were given a free Ferrari because it wasn't red.

While I agree that this game deserves a ton more attention as it's better than literally any MMO I have played, a lot of times people just don't post anything on here because there isn't really a reason too. Saying "Awesome!" just takes time away from me shooting bad guys in the face with bullets/fire/telekenetic nonsense :P

Awesome WOW! Totally awesome, I got like 100 splinters, 5 unbinders, a pet, a stash tab, an omega costume, tons of pots, loads of relics, 5 fortune cards, 5 ghost boxes, 5 freakin ultimate upgrade tokens and loads more can't even remember the rest it's so much.
Definitely not to be missed, get to leveling if you don't have a level 30, it's way worth it, like $20-30+ worth of free stuff.

Wish I had better luck with the fortune cards. Keep getting potions. Still need to decide which hero to use the Unique Box/Cake on.
BTW, For the Team-Up Pack Contest, is there anything in place to prevent people from making multiple accounts and getting multiple entries?
I don't know about 2 hours, but from the time of your first post complaining about the level requirement until your last post that I quoted above, you could have easily gone from 1 to 30 in that time.

Yes i could perhaps have done that... Had i not a closing report for a game-con, a end of term paper, taken my GF out to the movies (she have seen less of me than you) and to top it off i still have a bleeding report to write due this weekend.
So yes i am grumpy because this thing that they are doing has THE worst timing ever. So now i have to type like a mad man to get the report done and then bunr through all my carefully saved and collected XP potions.. Some of them are mint... =P
Yes it is a true first world non-issue. But it still killed a lot of my energy for the anniversity as it is now linked to having to stress with with stuff.

You realize all of this is for the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY? The game has been out for a year....a year. Even if you had only played for 2 mins a day, thats still 12 hours in a year. More than enough time to get to at least 30. Not only that, but over the past year there's been numerous events and xp potion giveaways that would have made getting to 30 even more trivial than what it is normally. The whole point of the anniversary goodies was to "thank the players". If you CBA to get to at least 30 by now, you weren't much of a player to begin with.
First world problems indeed.
