I think the combat UI is unique.  You have some combat skills on the left side.  Some only trigger during an encounter.  Then you have 3 diff stance centered in the UI bar.  You can use TAB to switch between them and the stance your in determines the 4 skill on the left side of the.

On the right, thats where spells go.  Right now there are 3 you can learn and unlock.  Once you find a scroll you click it to learn it.  You can also precast and wait to use it.

Really cool !

Shards is going to be that game to finally kill UO.  UO-killer!

On paper it sounded good now that I've seen it in Action though u can probably count me out. That game is painful to even look at for me at leasr

I'm sure that a lot of the animations will be cleaned up..  it's still pre-alpha.

Anyone who played UO or neverwinter nights should be very excited about this game, regardless of some of the crude forms it's currently in.

Ditto here.  Game is still rough around the edges but I'll check it out when it gets closer to a finish product but something tells me the general gameplay will not change.  Def not a triple-A quality product nor will it ever reach that level of polish and production quality.

Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
