So your saying PC gamers should be pirating thieves?

Im saying everyone should pirate everything. If the product is good then support them. If not then dont. The entertainment industry is the only place where if you dont like something you cant get your money back for the most part.

I dont pay $60 to test something.

But thats what Reviews, demos, and trials are for. If theres no demo or trial you can still count on multiple reviews to decide.  For me, I know if I will like a game or not just from looking at a gameplay video.  And then I dont go into a game thinking im going to like every aspect of the game, i go into it thinking I like what I see overall and feel that im probably going to have fun playing this for a while.

So im suppose to trust what someone else says about the game. If you like a game and I dont will you give me my money back?

Like I said in the end its still up to your overal feeling of the game from what you have seen from the media.  I never even see a review, i just look at the gameplay in videos and see if I like how combat looks, the visuals and what the world is like and I get it if it looks cool.  Its as simple as that and I never bought a game I was disappointed in.  You should look at multiple reviews not just one, and research the game.  You make it seem like deciding if you like a game without trying it out is rocket science.  And you and I know both know most people who pirate never ends up buying the game even if they like it.

And no matter how much you try to justify pirating, it doesnt make it any less immoral.  Its actually one of the prime reasons why a lot of devs dont make some games for the PC.  On top of that most people arent going to go through all the trouble of Jail Breaking a PS4 or Xbox One, Im not even sure if anyone has yet for the new gen consoles.

Looks pretty badass. I'd get it for PC, but I think it's still undecided if it's even going to be on PC, so I'll probably get it for 360.

I pirate more games on the consoles than I do for PC. It took 1 day for them to get all the code from the PS4. Now all they have to do is translate that into a program. Not sure if they got the Xbox yet.

Also there are tons of games that get horrible reviews that I find really fun. As well as games that have great reviews that I find really dumb.

Im playing Heavy Rain right now and it has amazing scores, was even recommended to me by my cousin. But I cant get over the bad controls and the horrible acting, both are extremely bad. The game got a 4.5/5 in most reviews about it. I would rate it a 2 so far.

I have also played games that looked amazing and were pretty decent but could be completed in a day. That isnt a game I find fun or worth $60. So just because something looks good and plays well doesnt mean the game will be any good.

I dont try and justify anything though. If game companies let me return games I was not satisfied I would buy releases more often. But instead I buy the majority of my games second hand meaning the game companies dont profit from or if I do buy them I have already played them before.

I enjoy buying games though when its a game I enjoy playing. I just recently bought Dragon Age and Final Fantasy 8 again. I bought Dragon Age a few times now for the xbox and finally bought it for the PC, I plan on playing 1 and 2 again so I can have a save on my computer for when I get Dragon Age 3, which I will be buying and already have pre ordered, they have done well for me in the past so I trust them to do well again. Final Fantasy 8 just because its my favorite one and love playing it. Both games I pirated to make sure I would like the PC port.

Haha, Console Vs. PC, at the Euro Gamer Expo in London in 2012 I asked a dev why the game might not come to the PC, he said if it did it wouldn't be made cross-over multiplayer as PC gamer's have an advantage over console players in fps, I was like "Who gives a crap about that, release it on the PC already" and as for Dust 514, they can keep that PAY TO WIN rubbish on the PS3 lol

Player made video's on youtube tend to have someone talking all through the video rather than actually playing the game so you can see all aspects. On the other hand if it's an expansion for a mmorpg game that you've been playing on and off over a long time, like a few years, then yes it's a 50/50 choice to buy or not.

Think we get better games to play on pc then Destiny, not going to buy a crap console that struggles to produce a decent framerate on 1080P.

Would be nice if we had a pc version, but nothing of great value lost here.

Its not our loss its their loss.

A gamer without a PS4/console is a gamer who will miss out or get half assed ports of some great looking games.

Have to disagree.  The new consoles are already dated.  Complete waste of money and the vast majority of good games will remain on the PC.  There will be a few non believers like Bungie, but few firms can afford to ignore half the market.

If they ever release it for the PC, I might look at it, but reality says that by then there will lots of better new games out there.  Bungie is missing the boat!

If you are thinking of buying one of the new consoles, you would be far better off getting a better graphics card instead, a much better investment.

    nope.. ps4 rules all

It does, in your little world of outdated hardware.

Actually for a lot of us "Gamers" it's not a loss at all as we game on multiple platforms and hold no unneeded bias towards one platform or another.

As to Destiny, hoping to be one of the people to get an alpha key today!

This game is literally defiance with a different skin. It's going to fail just the same
