Everything should be taylored to perfectly fit them and sod anyone else they hurt in the process.
There seems to me to be an entire generation of selfish, entitled prime donna's these days.

Clearly you were hurt, and thus......this is all about you. I would call you part of the "me" generation because of that but instead I will say you are part of the "you" generation, the people that think everything is someone else's fault, are to blame and are less than you in some way.
Every new generation is reviled by a subset of its bitter elders.
But it is the younger generation that is responding to what they have been taught in a world that has been shaped by their elders.
The younger generation has inherited a very poorly managed world. Their elders who partied hard and trashed the planet and piled up mountains of social injustice expect the younger generations to thank them for it.

I prefer Prime Rib to Prime Donna- But I guess I just feel entitled.

Why should I let someone else have all the fun? Better to make the mess messier, and let someone else enjoy the ride.
Actually here is a serious and heartfelt point: -
Baby Boomers (i.e. the post war generation) chose to buy every little piece of land on sale, use ever resource we have, destroy every environmental 'check' we have, take every ridiculous job they could and screw it until it was so dam obvious it could be fulfilled elsewhere (i.e. third world) that any barely educated idiot could do it.
My original post was meant as a joke, because I think subsequent generations take what their parents give them. But in all honesty I think the baby-boomer generation feathered their own nest and fucked their offspring over along the way. It was a horrible display of selfish greed from that generation.
Locto, D20 nailed it. You should be worried about the fact that you just don't get what's been going on since you were king.
I won't make that same mistake.
