Lego Minifigures Online: Open Beta Begins

LEGO Minifigures Online is now in open beta according to an announcement by Funcom. Players can head to the official site to grab the client and help the development team work through the final process before the game is released later in 2014.

LEGO Minifigures Online is based on the hugely popular Minifigures series of collectible toys. Players get to collect tons of Minifigures, each with their own personality and set of abilities, and take them out on great adventures through colorful worlds such as Pirate World, Space World and Medieval World. Everything takes place online, and thousands of players can join each other on exciting adventures and share the fun together.

    Hmm nice, never been a big fan of Lego but I loved the movie.

    Excellent. Liked the last lego online as i just want to bring back my childhood with lego building. Lets hope this one dosnt shutdown after what, 6 months or so like the last one!

    It's so strange that Funcom has in this its catalogue side by side with Age of Conan or The Secret World... Anyway, Lego Minifigures Online is a fun Diablo-like game. The graphics are great and it plays well. Lots of stuff for free, but you have to be a member (7€/month or 45/year) to enter in some areas. It's a fun game, but with so many to play I don't think I'll give it to much attention.

    Agree. I love Legos but I'm already invested in Marvel Heroes and some in Diablo 3 and with no little children I'm not sure I have focus for it... would love to try it though so tempted to take a look.

    its kinda fun but I quit after 5 minutes. I cant play point and click games.

    It looks like their membership benefits include the ability to chat in-game.

    Can anyone who's tested tell: Will I be unable to chat unless I pay them membership fee?

    Nvm it's shift as usual. For some reason it didn't work for me before.
