Yea well guess what...
SUN Online hits free-open beta on the 24th of january korean time. Which means 23rd sometime in the US.
I know this cause uh...well I'm in korea right now RIKI ^^...longtime no see MMORPG.COM veterans...My rank has become a n00b -_-;;
Also I knew this from early january because well uh...I was doing a part-time job at a PC cafe...(which of course I just played games all day rather than work ^^) and a webzen advertiser came to the PC cafe to advise us of the info...but the PC cafe I used to Part-time job suxs ass so SUN won't even run LMAO...
Anyways...For those of you who aren't aware...Free-Open Beta means they let any registered users to play, but only for certain offered times of the day...something like 7pm-12pm korean time...
As long as you can fake or get a korean SSD, I'd advise you to try it... and also... Don't try to run it on a crappy PC with a video card below 6600 or 9800xt...
Free-Open Beta is usually offered in korean internet games...right before when open beta starts...
Now, as for Granado Espada -_-;; I shared an account with a guy from the PC cafe I became friends with...cause We Together registered about 27 korean SSD accounts and got one stinking ID picked for the stupid last Closed Beta.... 27 fawking korean SSDs...-_-;; from his parents+mine+relatives...LMAO...
Anyways the game is freaking awesome...One problem those...
They have mobs regen at same spots like MU...-_-;; this even makes the game easier to bot...with the ingame Baroque system...which allows AI to auto-attack surrounding mobs...
All I saw was buncha old men (prolly) botting...not actually botting but, letting the Ai do all the hunting, leaving the 3 chars in one spot, since mobs only regen in same spots...Guay~ ~,.~
It may just be me...or just because there were every closed-beta testers every minute of the closed-beta...Seemed like everyone was botting -_-;;
GE will prolly go OB next month...korean :P Suxs for those who can't get korean SSD

Mugengaia, long time no see. I was wondering where you went off too. I haven't told the community, but I had a chance to play GE, but I turned it down for some reason. I'll always get a chance to play it. Thanks for the information man. So let me summarize this: SUN Online goes into open beta January 24th (Korea Time). Sounds like good news to me.
Hey, your in korea right now, why don't you find out what's hot...things that other US sites don't know about and report them here. That would be pretty cool.

Cool Mugengaia is back.
I stopped trying to get into Korean beta's since the lag is terrible when trying to log in from the states lol. Anyways it helps me not get caught trying to fake KSSN numbers.
I'm sure they are going to be releasing both games in the states. I know Webzen wants to expand into the states, and the I am pretty sure the lead dev of Granado Espada likes the idea of globalization.

OB of Granado Espada won't happen until Mid-Febuary at the earliest.

Can someone give me the link to download RF online?
RF Online is P2P in Twain, Japan, and Philiphines. They all use an IP ban to disallow access from people not in those regions. The CodeMasters US/UK release isn't till Feb/March.

It's Free-Open Beta that hits the 24th korean time...which is 23rd some earlier day time for the North American gamers...
Times for play will be limited...I'm thinking that they will allow gamers to play from 6pm to 12am...
The webxen advertiser said...they are planning a 3-5day Free-Open Beta...but it'll prolly be longer from the populaity rave its getting...
Anyways...hum...games that are popular in korea...as for now I'm playing this game called SuddenAttack which is basically a rip-off of CS. It's fun tho...so it's worth trying...
Not to mention it got more than 50k users online at the same time in less than 1 month of Open Beta.
Other than that...I have no clue man....the other games that seem cool...are...well koreans still L1...
Oh crap I forgot to mention...guess what Rikki....my guild for Shaiya appeared in an article...
I made a guild with some other players in Shaiya and now have most guild members in the server with +300 members...
some site called NuriNuri? interviewed us...when I was sleeping...anyways...Shaiya is actually a damn good game...has bright opportunities but the SonoV game developers are lazy as hell...
Anyways...those who want to try GE and SUN...I'll gladly donate my + family KSSD...

Actually the Sun Online OB should be starting up about 4AM on the 24th for anyone on EST. So it will only be the 23rd for the a couple of the other time zones.

Getting reports that Sun Online servers are open early. Need to open the launcher and let it patch first though. Haven't tried it for myself yet. The patcher was acting funky a moment ago.

Login server was completely hosed. It got flooed by so many people it could take you 5 to 30 minutes just to get to character creation. Once in the game though there was no lag. I got up to lvl 6. Even got to group with a few people from OnRPG that decided to meet in game. Since we were all on a vent server waiting for the server to come up.
