Level 90, the new start

Lord.BachusLord.Bachus Member RarePosts: 9,686

No more €50 for getting to level 90, they should make every new character start at level 90, and every lower level character  an upgrade to level 90....   Make the whole game start at level 90.  at a new time and place...

and then they should upgrade all current content, all dungeons, raids, quests areas and all theother stuff to level 100....  And give people a reason to play all, or just the favourite parts of that content again... This way everyone would have 10 years of content available  at level 100...    And the reason to go back, would not be gearogression, but character progression...  A kind of AA system,  maybe something like the sigil system from D3, where players could earn AApoints to spend on upgrading their current spells...

Imagine what 10 years of content all at max level could mean for this game....

You would have to update all the loots for 90-100. instead why not with the new server system create lvl 60,70,80 and up progression type servers and you choose when u want to move onto  next  level server. Ah is cross server so no economy drop.

Because 95% of the players want to be max level...

Its far from impossible... Scaling stuff is just a matter of mathematics..

this way that can add gigantic amounts of content to the endgame, and thats what this game has prooved to be all about since vanilla left the kitchen. Its about the endgame where everyone is max level.... This would somehow compensate for blizzqrds failings in the upgrade department... If they add all this content to max level game, its much easier to keep players interested

It's one of the main things that really irritates me about WoW (and other games as well)... every expansion they just add bigger numbers and make all old content completely worthless except for leveling alts. If Blizzard could somehow make everything in the game relevant again there would be a ridiculous amount of content.

Also, one of the things that could get me playing again is garrisons... however, they will most likely be like the farm, good for the expansion and then worthless afterwards. So, nothing about this expansion is bringing me back. It's more of the same over and over and over again.

So basically like all previous expacs. I have played WoW since start of TBC till MoP. With breaks but every expansion was exactly that. Old same crap in a different box + it made all crap from older expacs worthless. Nothing will bring me back to wow.

    It solves nothing.

WoW players only care about vertical progression at end game, it doesn't matter if they have a lot of content choices if it don't increase their power and ego.

Once people clear all that upscale content they will be crying for the next teir.

    I surprisingly agree with this.

Most people by now know, Leveling hasn't been a major part of WoW for a while, and maybe if they did this I wouldn't have to wait years between expansions for more raiding content lol.

They have the resources to take old content and make it relevant again, its something they've done in the past with onyxia for example and why they haven't continued to do so in order to atleast fill these gaps like we are in currently is beyond me.  I'd truly like to know that the money is going towards, they talk on the forums as if they're designing on a low budget.

Welcome to the world of mmorpgs. Guess all those years playing WoW didn't teach you anything. This pretty much happens with every single game when an expansion is released.

You should probably quit the genre if it's that bothersome.

I don´t think you want to know, because you do actually know. Get me? ;-)

All the Money dissapears in the Pockets of top management and their shareholders.

Seen all their fancy villas, holiday houses, ferrari´s and lambourgini´s? That´s where your money is my friend.

You actually don´t think they gonna give you Your subscription´s worth of content updates? Come on now!

If the WoW playerbase actually had balls and put action to where their mouths are and everyone canceled their Subscription all at once years ago out of protest! Maybe then Blizzard would have been forced to actually start giving people what they pay for.

But players keep on doing what they have done for years. Act like sheep and continue on paying their sub, because they are addicted and can´t let go.

Why would they spend more, when they can milk their playerbase succsefully, like they have done since release!

I like this idea. Personally I'd like them to turn everyone to lvl1 which would equal current lvl90. Then have only 10 levels and convert all the old content match these levels + WoD having marginally harder "max lvl10" stuff. Damn that would be fun, relatively "fair" world pvp everywhere + loads of content with more or less meaningful rewards everywhere.

I'd also like special server type (PvP only) with no flying mounts to promote that old school world pvp where you run into enemy faction people and then randomly square it off. Flying mounts was propably the biggest Le'Sigh for me promoting the cowardly BS of stalking from the air and then only attack on unsuspecting prey at 10% health, most of the time just skip opposing faction alltogether...

One can dream, but Blizzard is focused on their own plan, and since the stats squish I doubt they are planning to do anything else at this time.

Tbh i cant stand lvling in any mmo anymore, whatever the quests are. Enough...

I only want to play max lvl content. A quality and with many different options to play end game, with fast paced content additions is the only thing i ask anymore.
