All older players who have migrated from MSN and quit can come back for lifetime membership or however long AC remains for only $9.99. AC has been placed into maintenance mode for the remainder of it's life. It can last 2 yrs from now or end the end of this year, nobody knows. It can even be bought up by Sony and placed on their station access pass. Nobody really knows how long it will last but it is the best fun I have had since returning. AC maybe old, but it has probably the best sandbox ever created and game play. Do not miss your chance to play AC again.
AC has changed so much you should come back and check it out. The ui is customizable now where you can move the windows and set it how you want it. The leveling curve is super fast and easy.
The server that has the most players is Frostfell if you do decide to return and find your old home server dead just make a new toon on Frostfell and level quickly with the help of others and doing the hub quests.

That made no sense, do you even play? The leveling in AC is easy. You can take a new guy and make to 200 in a week. The facility hub alone will take you from 10-45 in about 2hrs if you do all the quests or get someone to give you the items to turn in and only spend 5min to 45. Overall AC leveling is not like it used to be. Questing is fun and you actually level off of it pretty quickly.
the fact that questing and AC are mentioned together is the reason I havent returned
Why in the name of holy moses i would take another walk in the park ? since theres way better looking parks out there and theres billions of them.
But good luck AC,i hope they do well in this "league"

I guess some people can't appreciate the other things within their environment. You need to look past just the esthetics of things. AC maybe old but the graphics aren't that bad, people who can't learn to setup a game correctly for their resolution and graphics are missing out on a lot of good old games. Sadly this is the attitude that many young newer generations of online gamers have with older mmorpg's, it's cause they know nothing of good gameplay and everything of esthetics.
Don't listen to him. The leveling curve to about 175 will take about a month but those last 100 levels will take someone hardcore (without UCM Botting) about 6 months.

^^ and the only reason i payed is to play AC2..i very much enjoy it..its a theampark the way theamparks should be made today its near perfect imo
i also hear that AC2 will be f2p in aug.
AC is a shell of a once great game much like EQ giving into the masses of easy mode
Whats easy mode about EQ now? 1-70 leveling is easier than before but high level content still requires cleric/tank/slow/debuff just to complete. Perhaps you haven't experienced this.
I think PAL-18 was decrying the game now being super easy to level in, he wasn't complaining about the graphics.

Coming from a time of pilar, tusker camp and dungeon macroing, ElTank vs selfmade AC Tool macros fighting for who makes more xp/h and barely making it to 126 in 2 years I must say 200 in a week feels just wrong. I remember making an OG mage was something only crazy people did because for the first 40-50 levels you didnt have any real offence. selfbuffing in mana pools for xp was considered a good idea!
So no sorry. not comming back
Not yet, I plan on returning sometime soon. Right now busy with Hearthstone, Diablo 3 and ArcheAge alpha.
