Archeage Korean 1.7 patch

Coming in the middle of July, Korea is getting the 1.7 patch that changes class balances yet again, adds in a new Mega Boss called the Leviathan, Steam Powered Skateboards, New houses, New Story, New Ship PVP Battleground, New Areas, New Instruments, New Dance emotes, and Customizable ships.


(Trion is going to Launch with the 1.2 patch for the west, in case you were wondering)

    I'm still unsure about this game's art style. Steam powered skateboards could be nice... in a steampunk game. AA doesn't seem to be steampunk, but it's not fantasy, either, so... what is it? It looks pretty incoherent.

    It's medieval fantasy with a crazy Korean twist to it.

    Thanks for the info! Only problem is that (as usual), Nuia seems to be in favor of a lot again when it comes to changes. Hell, Nuia seems to have all good features of the game close by compared to Halcyona...

    ArcheAge had some steampunkish elements from start - so nothing surprising there.

    Oh, I know, but the guy riding that skateboard in the video is wearing a hoodie and cargo pants. That's not steampunk. Generally, it's not the steampunk elements that bother me, it's the modern clothing and tech that looks very silly next to both the steampunkish gadgets and the typical high fantasy elements.

    I hate everything that has to do with steampunk in any game. And now they do this to the game I was anticipating the most. FUck man dont make me go back to WoW.

    I would seriously suggest XL should take those people off the damn skateboard coding and put them on other things like siege and opening up even more areas

    Yeah a lot of korean games put stupid crap in their cash shops. like modern clothing or the over used Panda costume. The good thing is trying has full control so if it`s unpopular it probably wont go in the game. So always keep that in mind when you see questionable/shady stuff, all patches are subject to change in EU and NA

    What about skill tree changes?

    1.2 had a great effect on those.

    um WOW has tons of steampunk stuff, they just call it Goblin and Gnome, but there is a ton of it
