Lol I was thinking Zombado from the first posters comment of Sy-fi could make a movie of it :P (Poor Sharknado)
When I first heard about H1Z1, my first reaction was "meh, yet another zombie game" but the more I hear about what they are planning the better it sounds.
(Still would of like a sci-fi mmo from SOE that was said that SWG veterns can finally home but still this is looking pretty good tho)
Interesting.. but what I really want to know is if the zombies will actually be enough of a threat in this game to force player to play cooperatively. To limit the looters and murderers to a small fraction of the population like it would most definitely be in a similar situation (I know.. I'm optimistic.. ).
I don't like that part in DayZ (and any other surivival sandbox I tried so far..). If you don't play with a group of friends, you probably never will meet anyone cause everyone is a paranoiac/mass-murderer psycho.. It's so hard to find decent people in these games, that I'm waiting for this one with a lot of reserve, however good it may sound!
Now, don't get me wrong.. I know there will be psychos that only want to kill others (goonsquad is bound to play this after all eh?), but I would like it best if it was'nt 99% of the population!

Yea, I have that hope as well. If they provide a dense enough zombie population around logical supply sites (markets, proper malls, strip malls with gun shops, etc.), it should work this way.
Players that choose not to cooperate with anyone should find it much harder to survive and gather the "fancier" supplies. However, they should also find it easier to sneak in and out of places that aren't completely covered with groups of other players or infested with large amounts of zombies. There should be a trade-off, where the lone wolf survives in a simply different way than groups working together. He can get by on less, but cannot realistically hope to attain the best in terms of supplies and weapons.

Its sooo easy to make when have you solid game engine.
Which H1Z1 does have with the tried and working Planetside 2 Engine while DayZ is still trying to fix the broken ARMA II engine which we all know is not going to happen.

My money is on H1Z1 even if it will be less realistic looking. (have to give props to the ARMA engines for looking absolutely realistic even though the rest is broken beyond repair.)

I've always wanted to see seasons and better passing storms. SWG had cool sandstorms on Tatooine!
