You didn't miss anything by a day. It just started today (7/13) and runs through (7/16) so you can only get your initial entry plus 4 bonus entries for logging in everyday. Total = 5 entries.

As a new user, I think that yeah, the last sweepstakes should be only for elder members (eg. have an account for at least 3 months). Of course, sweepstakes like that are mainly to gather a new "pack" community, but there were already few notable giveaways that focused many many people. If they want to stay on website, they will, if not, one more giveaway won't make them stay. Personally, whether I win or lose, I'm staying, maybe not for WoW news, but for other games ;-) I even didn't know that this site existed.

First off.... For this beat you need to have a active MoP subscription... So you get nothing for free... Secondly everyone will be able to play sooner or later.
So i can not really see what the fuzz is about, unless you intended to sell your key and make money off it all you have to do is sit back and relax.
You actually don't need to have an active MoP subscription, just need to have purchased up to that expansion (Source - I am in the beta with no MoP sub). With that said though I agree, I can't see what the fuss is about either. The game will be out in a few months, and as of right now this is a pretty rough around the edges beta. You will literally be bug hunting, and in some cases frustrating character destroying bugs. There are only two zones unlocked, 1 horde and 1 alliance, and half of the quests are bugged. PvP is barely working and some classes are broken. Instances aren't tuned and are broken with you fighting mobs 8 red levels above you. And the servers barely stay on for 10 minutes at a time, with constant "World server down" errors. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have gotten a beta key, but the vitriol from some of the users on these forums who haven't gotten one is surprising. Getting a key isn't exactly winning the lotto (unless you are selling the keys, which in that case it kind of is )

Isn't it you need to have WoW up to date with MoP and an active sub isn't req?
You need to have Wow + MoP and have had an active subscription within the past 6 months, Else It wont work.
It's the same rules as the PTR.
