Bioware's Mike Gamble has posted a link on his Twitter account asking fans of the Mass Effect franchise to complete a short survey to "help us make the next Mass Effect game the best one yet". The survey asks players to identify games they have and are playing as well as their favorite aspects of the games they play.
Help us make the next Mass Effect game the best one yet. Id appreciate it if you folks did this short survey... https://t.co/XAH1xjNNty

Do you think something like this will have a real impact on the development of Mass Effect 4? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments.
In addition to the above, Bioware also announced that it will be sending a team to this year's San Diego Comic Con to discuss the making of Mass Effect 4. The panel will not delve into characters and story, but how the series is expanding with the next title.
Mass Effect developers from the Edmonton and Montreal studios discuss what it's like to expand on a well-established and beloved video game franchise. Panelists Carl Boulay (lead animator), Fabrice Condominas (producer), Mike Gamble (producer), Noel Lukasewich (senior artist), and Jessica Merizan (community manager), share their experiences in shaping the next Mass Effect game with new possibilities while staying true to the critically acclaimed series. This is interesting.
I've answered the survey, and want to say one thing that they didn't ask about: Please please please don't make it a prequel. I know that working forward from the end of ME3 would be kinda hard. I can even accept them choosing one of the endings as cannon and going from there...
They be milking this one too, holy cow.
Still have to finish 2 and play 3!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I truly hope they listen to the players as EA clearly did not get it by themselves for ME3.
i wish they could of just left Bioware alone to do what they did best instead of morphing them into another generic EA cash cow offshoot
ME was only ever meant to be a 3 parter but it seems, just like the "we wont ever release yearly" Battlerfield franchise, EA just wants to churn more out
They are making a new IP as well on the side, they said it in the mass effect 4 announcement trailer
I liked the ending, he had a heroes death and became a Legend, but I guess most people want a happily ever after fairy tale ending. And they did listen to the customers who didnt like the original ending, they made leviathan DLC for them.
Also they listened to the customers about dragon age as well.
