Phew. That's awfully pricey. $75 ($100 once the sale ends) for a race unlock and a bunch of cosmetic stuff? I'll pass.
Hopefully the Dragonborn will be like the renegade Drow race was, and there will be a free version later down the line. At the very least it'd be nice to just be able to buy the race unlock by itself. For a reasonable price.
Pass.
I left after the Caturday fiasco so not like I was coming back anyway. But 75 for a race unlock pack? Paying 150 to test a game that is basically finished over at Trion seems like a good deal!
That's great and all but we're still waiting on anywhere close to half the classes from 4e to show up in the game, this 1 class a year thing is for the birds.
That's the last thing they need to do is have yet another thing cost in this game title. When they don't even listen to their hero founders on how the game should be or why the heroes are leaving en masse it's amazing to me that this game is actually making money.
Sad when you buy a mount or a companion from the store for real money and then you have to spend real money to upgrade said mount or companion because they weren't purples to begin with! Whoever did the economy on this game should be fired .....from a cannon into the sun.
im not paying for a alpha game 150 buck and will not pay for a extra race in a free to play game 100buck either....
i got alot of money trust me, but im doing it because i think that wrong, im voting with my money.
last week, whore got 400buck, restaurant got 200 more buck and who know what i will buy this week, but this will be never total rip off from these game company, you will never got my money and if more customer would do the same they would just stop....
this start to be crazy wrong... they are no law for allow people to sell a game when the game not even complet ? 150$ for test a alpha..... and who know what worst they are curently thinking of doing and will be coming, they will try until people stop to pay ....each months these game company try to steal more and more money and they ask for more and more...
in 2 months, pay money for make the game and pay money for play the game... ha that kickstarter... and people pay... okay im out.
The F2P model is why I dont play Neverwinter even though I am a big neverwinter fan. I understand developers need to make money however the F2P model will never be a place where I call home. I can accept a Hybrid SWTOR/RIFT Model but not neverwinters F2P model. I would rather pay for the subscription and get everything I want in game than $100 here $40 here, $75 there.
I understand this attitude and agree myself but understand nowadays you get a sub game + cash shop. You have the priviliege of paying every month to play and then buy items that you need to play. MMOs have advanced over the years.
Currently Playing: ESO and FFXIV
Have played: You name it
If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.
Oh, most likely considering it's Cryptic.
Though the free artifact is useful if every character on the account can claim one.
Still... $75, or rather €75 for me considering they like the charge europeans more... makes me think no thanks.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

Yeeeahhh i´m gonna play as a Drago..... O.o
Wait......
75 euros on Sale ????? Are they kidding??
Pfffff........ no ty.
Now that i think of it i can get 9 months of a WoW subscription with the price of that package. I say wow for me personally but for any sub mmo thats worth the sub, its a lot better than falling for this cash grab.
I was sort of holding of a Feywild pack (who does not need more elves) but i can not really justify paying that kind of money for a race unlock and a race change token (i have a char that could use that)
Time will tell what this will end up as.
This have been a good conversation

We might hate, but I bet if you log in after it launches you'll see plenty of these running around. Too many chumps will pony up the cash for this, which is why we keep seeing it.
Neverwinter feels like playing a slot machine with a 0% payout. Just a box with lots of flashy shinies and noise to keep you hooked.
What did I just read?
