Destiny: Beta Opens to EVERYONE on all Supported Consoles

All hopeful Destiny players on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 now have access to the game's beta, according to a new post on the official site. Potential testers need to check that requirements are met and check out the handy dandy FAQ before heading into the game. This means, even if you didn't pre-order, all who want to try the game before September's launch can.
Help us deliver the game you deserve. Before we shut this party down, we’ll welcome everyone who wants a preview of this brave new world. If you have yet to play Destiny, look for offers to download the Beta directly from your console later on this afternoon.If you have played the Beta, please prepare for new arrivals. We know you won’t go easy on them in the Crucible. Show no mercy.

Nice to see how "all consoles" equals "all platforms" even here, where most games are still PC only, and the amount of console-only games is even smaller.
PC is more and more an afterthought, and then they wonder why PC gamers don't like their game. They treat PC gamers like they are unworthy of their game, and if the PC gamers pray and beg enough, at which point they *may* show mercy and offer a lousy port.
And then they wonder why most people lost interest. Combined with tons of DLC, you can not buy a game on release anyways, but got to wait a year or two.
And somehow, it's impossible to provide the fully patched client, but people have to download 20 GB, only to patch another 20 GB..for an effective game size of 15 GB.
I doubt Destiny will be the second coming it's made up to be.

Sorry, but that's not all platforms. That's all consoles.
Most platforms would include PC and Mobile phones/tablets.
I guess they do not care about those "platforms". Why should they, more money to be made on the others.

This is an error of working on MMORPG.com's end. Bungie actually isn't saying that on the direct link. They described it correctly on their website direct.
Not that I like it that they aren't expanding to PC but I feel compelled to point out that it actually isn't Bungies fault with the wording of this post.

Article title is a combo of clickbait plus bait'n'switch targeted wording. Bungie has said this title is NOT for "ALL" Platforms.
All platforms includes, Xbox 1, PS4 & legacy consoles Xbox 360 / PS3. There is no WiiU version, and there are no mobile releases, no handheld releases (3DS, Vita). And the bigger of the ones missing, no PC release.
So whomever at mmorpg.com greenlit this article through the editing process kinda goofed on the title. Might have been an honest mistake but...its not the first time we've seen websites take liberties with news stories and try to reword them different than the actual developers themselves have had. I can guarantee you I would NOT have read this article, if it didn't say "All Platforms" because I already knew it wasn't on PC, its' a title designed to capture your eyes, thus more pageviews, more adviews, etc.

Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but having not followed Destiny (because it's not for PC) when i saw this I thought "Oh sweet, it's for PC now?"

Seriously need to get over it. Console gamers lose out on almost every MMO.
How are they treating PC gamers like unworthy of their game? Its a console exclusive game. When a game (including mmorpgs) launch on PC only, nobody says those companies treat console gamers as unworthy of their game. Stop overreacting. Every platform has its exclusive games, including PC.
As for the sizes, that is false. I downloaded the Alpha when it was available, and now for the beta it updated the Alpha client and it only downloaded 2 extra GB. Dont spread missinformation as a way to ¨take revenge¨ over a console exclusive game that is not coming for PC.
My opinion on this matter? it will come to PC in the future because its not brand exlusive, its still multi platform.
But us PC gamers are far more important than console players. Everybody knows this.
console players should never get 1st dibs on games only seconds....

LOL @ these "PC only elite" gamers. Look at how bent out of shape they get over this.
I play more PC than anything by far, but have been having fun with destiny and Mario Kart 8 especially more than anything out on PC right now and I have over 850 games on steam, so thats telling you something, consoles are still fun and worth owning.
