Note that I only played well over month ago for a week. And didnt do nothing unusually. Actually I barely played.
So month after my last login , i am banned ... maybe the reason is not buying the game after playing trial
Well done NC soft !
Comments
They hope you follow up on it, they'll unsuspend you and offer you a few free week hoping you get addicted and start playing again.
Fact that you are playing on a trial does not mean you don't have to follow their rules.
So what did you do?
"going into arguments with idiots is a lost cause, it requires you to stoop down to their level and you can't win"
I find it rather amusing that you are getting the blame for the ban now.
Oh Lobo, you little scroundrel.
Same happened to me.
I quit playing a week Before the World Cup (maybe two months ago). A week ago I received a message giving me a warning for cheating using third party exploit. First of all, I didn't do this, second of all I haven't played in almost two months at the time.
Now a couple of Days ago I received two messages. One saying that my subscriptiontime was out ( i have changed credit card so that was expected) and at the exact same time I also got a mail saying that I was suspended for using third party exploits.
I don't care because I do not plan to play the game anymore anyway but still never fun to get accused for something you haven't done months after you last played. I guess I must have been hacked and some goldfarmer have set up macros using my account but then again wouldn't I get emails saying that someone is logging in from a location that the game doesn't recognize?
I truly hate goldfarmers. I cannot Believe that a "service" like that is actually working. That people buy gold when they see all the spamming, all the bots running around in games and read about accounts getting hacked left and right. Incredible I must say.
Nothing. As I got exactly the same email from them and I only had a trial acount aswell. That account expired weeks ago.

Lob... IN your case it could simply be a case of mistaken identity. It happens from time to time in every game. Had a friend of mine who was booted from WoW for exploiting PvP glitches... Until he could prove that he had never done PvP on the account. Turned out a CSR had flipped two letters in the name.
As for the guy who had not played for weeks but had a running subscription... Unless you have 2-step verfication i would assume your account was hi-jacked.
This have been a good conversation
It was just 7 days trial account.
And the trial has passed.
How could anyone use it, even if it was hacked ?
What I guess that they have some kind bot , banning accounts. But its faulty , would not surprise me that thousands got random suspensions.
This.
I was banned a couple of days ago for no god-damned reason at all. It took me over 4 ticket responses to get them to reveal what I was suspended for. (It originally said: Violation: WildStar Account Notification: Suspended. Apparently it was revealed to me what it was because of suspected 'Third-Party Violation') My account was active, paid for an additional month, had saved and grinded up two CREDD's as well. I founded a very successful Mining circle on our server, ran a few arena games and got banned the following day. (14th July)
To anyone who claims "don't hack". I'm a MMO veteran for far over a decade and WildStar has been my favorite MMO for a very, very long time. I would never no something as stupid.
The problem is, as an innocent, you can't do anything. You can't talk to anyone, you can't get them to manually investigate your case instead of just letting their detection bot handle it and never even care to double-check. In my case, if they actually look through the logs or whatever their system is, they'll find out that their detection system is flawed. Extremely so.
How come I see literally chunks and trains of bots teleporting around collecting resources, AFK-bots in BGs, weeks after week. And legit customers like myself who completely loves and cherish the game with already many hours played, get punished for no god-damned reason at all.
I repeat, their detection system is extremely flawed and their CS doesn't seem to realize/care nor do they obviously believe you. If only one of them would get off their high horse and just manually investigate the issues they would reveal the truth of the matter. Bloody amateurs, my god.

Carbine has admitted that there may be a selected few that actually gets added to there ban waves as its a work in progress and not 100% perfect yet. They have said if you are one of the unlucky folks, contact them and they will look into it
I know a few that got hit and carbine reversed the ban within 24 hours. But since you were on a trial, you may not care.
Perfect example for all this "Guilty until you've proven your innocence"-shit that happens all the time in forums. But unlike in most other cases where it's close to impossible to prove that innocence, at least in your case it's very likely. Just out of curiosity: have you logged into your account and checked the transaction history? It would make an error on Carbine's site even more likely if there never was an active subscription. Not that it would change much for the average forums poster, cause ...
...yeah, right, only a selected few got hit with an unjustified ban. But the problem almost nobody wants to see is this: there are just a selected few that can actually prove their innocence or care enough to appeal with enough insistence. So, most suspensions must be correct, right?
There is a reason why in most legal systems there is something like a presumption of innocence. Until you are being accused of a user agreement violation that means. But we all can consider ourselves lucky if this situation is really one of the few cases where such a reversal happens .....
It's by all means a legal question. That's why such bans/suspensions need a justification and can't be done arbitrarily. If your account is supended, Carbine doesn't fullfill their contractual obligations anymore. So it all comes down to the question if the justification is correct.
And I fail to see where bans/suspensions serve a protective function for the affected customers. What exactly is protected for these customers with the suspension? If anything it may serve as conservation of evidence, but as customer you won't get these evidences. And in case of compromised accounts a rollback is needed anyways. If there is something like this in place that means, otherwise it doesn't matter at all for said customers.
I have to admit that compromised accounts can be a problem for all other players (like seen in Wildstar). But if you can't play because your account is banned, you won't care too much for them
Besides your argument assumes the correctness of the suspension in the first place. What is protected in case of false positives or bans/suspensions of trial accounts after they expired?
I think the problem with mass bans like in Wildstar is: it's just a poorly, lazy procedure of a developer that failed to properly secure his game in the first place. At least map hacks/ warping players strongly indicate that way too much is handled client side without proper server checks and authorization. And if incompetence in such critical parts is in place, why not assume they are also incompetent with banning ....
1 thing i do in any online games since i played world of warcraft and people are very good at faking from who the emails comes from is to never click any links in any email that says it comes from them. Even if they mention things like password reset request , or account hacked or even if it says suspension or even for promotions.etc...
Edit to give example :
I usually go manually to there website eg: us.battle.net then access manually my account. If no mention of acocunt ban or suspension or password reset sent, then i change my password right away and mark the email i got originally about the issue as spam email. If there is a issue with my account when i tried to access it then i know that yes the email was from them.
I got played like that once in the past and will not fall for it again.
Edit 2 : Remember for those that will get WOD to not click any links or reply to any emails that says Blizzard ,etc... in it soon before or at release or even after release of WOD, lot's of phishing emails will be sent out to gain access to your account and the best way to know for sure if it comes fro mblizzard is to manually access your account yourself on there website.
Let me give you some history.
WoW, shortly after release banned 1000's of accounts they thought were cheating.
It turns out, they weren't cheating at all for the most part.
The people who fought for their account got it back. The people who just let it slide lost everything for nothing.
If you are one of these people, don't let the company defraud you, whether it's malice or simply incompetence.
Wonder if Wildstar is getting desperate because of a lack of subs, or if they truly are that incompetent. Time will tell.
It reminds me of people posting about getting their Diablo 3 account hacked in the very beginning, then after all of the fanboys telling them that it was their computer (one guy actually scanned his entire HD with 10 different scanners to show that it was clean... after a clean install), it was later revealed that Blizzard had indeed been compromised.
Moral of the story: If you paid money to this company and they banned you for something you did not do.
Get a charge back. Make them suffer financially for their incompetence/greed (in your case it was a trial, so... you did the world a favor by exposing them, OP) and never buy anything from them ever again.
Welcome to NCsoft where they have never heard about customer service. I have had so many problems with NCsoft over the years with guildies being hacked and their accounts being used to bot by chinese farmers to getting my unpaid accounts blocked for various reasons. All of these problems never being solved of course.
Just move on and avoid NCsoft lol.
Looking forward to uhh.....
