I have the same feeling. Looks great, but at the same time, I think it will either be low on content or they will milk those DLC's hard. 14GB install does not make me feel any better about it.

LOL at that topic: "wonder what might happen if I speak normally here."

As for Destiny, I kinda consider it a next gen multiplayer game since it's pretty common to have some form of upgrade/progression in normal multiplayer games of today.

But this said I havn't played the game but most likely will and go into with a multiplayer mind not so much with a MMORPG mind.

Im having fun, doing explorer mode, searching for hidden caves, without a map, doing quests, doing a dungeon, pvp is fun!

Never played a fps on the console,  played on the pc, wow, rift, gw2 etc etc most mmo's, skyrim,

But now with the ps4, playing ffxiv, Destiny, cant wait for ps2! Neverwinter, H1Z1, QE next etc bring it on xD

Sadly... when you look at the publisher, I think you are bang on about milking them DLC's. Hope were wrong but I doubt it.

Bungie have said the game is huge etc. but all publishers say that

We will however find out. We will be able to compare it to other games. And, as its a b2p game, people don't need to "rush" though to experience "everything" before the 30 days are up.

    Milk those DLCs   ?????

Hard to milk DLCs. People don't have to buy them. And if the new content is trivial or deemed over priced most people won't. They can also buy them as and when they want. No rush.

Contrast DLC to "mandatory subscriptions". Just give us your money we have lots of great plans. Yeah. Subs can be milked. And if you don't pay the sub you can't play period. Subs are just like paying rent; stop paying the rent, get thrown out of the building.

Destiny doesn't have a sub but its not free to buy: you have to pay to play. And if you subsequently want to play the new content from the publisher: you have to pay for the new content. You can however carry on playing what you have bought. And you can decide not to buy it. Or buy it when the price comes down. Maybe next year when module 2 launches you will be able to pick up module 1 and the DLC and at that point you will decide you are getting enough gigabytes for your buck.

At this moment in time however we don't know.

It's not for everyone and a lot PC mmo players will hate it off the bat. Having played mmos and GPS games since the late 90's I can see both sides. What I don't get is people lying about their experience.

My biggest gripes so far. No proximity voice. Ship is cool but it's only purpose is fluff for the loading screen. Some very lopsided matchmaking. Giving me loot I can't use. I enjoyed it immensely but the beta is only like 20% of the game in its entirety.

It is a casual pve multiplayer game. A very polished and robust pvp game. I preordered the collectors and I love it but I will still play wow, d3, ffxiv. Destiny is what I wanted defiance to be.

destiny had like the best alpha ever, the beta is fantastic,  the franchise has a 10 year deal with activision, is brought to you by the makers of HALO, CALL OF DUTY, ect ect,  is not a subscription model, and is available cross platform as well.

the graphics are great, the soundtrack is decent,  the gameplay is smooth , every reviewer worth note signs off as this is going to be a hit, but these forums are as always dripping with vile.

hard to bash, yes, but ive just read 7 pages of vile from the anti everything fanboys that haunt these boards, and i just pity you:P

This site is about bashing... just read any of the posts herein, the general vibe is bash it and bash it good.  It's an internet sport... I heard ESPN will be covering it live next year at E3.  Big prizes to be had.  Cancellation of games.  Increase in gold selling.  Increase in P2W.  Oh it's gonna be epic!

I personally enjoyed the game, although I had a few gripes.

When you are doing the strike mode not enough ammo drops

The explore zones need to be way larger

While doing pvp the weapons that everyone gets do not scale like your level does so you get one shotted... A LOT

If you are playing pvp then decide to exit and do a mission,  you do not get any of your ammo back which sucks because if you die pvp they take it all away from you with the exception of the primary.

Only cause you dont like the feedback from some players, you dont need to say they want to talk bad about the game.

And there are no reviewers out there who are not influenced by the gaming industry show me one!
